We invest heavily in our team members who enjoy industry-leading professional development, exceptional career opportunities, and mobility across our group.\nROLE SUMMARY:\nKensington School, part of Inspired Education, is seeking to appoint a School Secretary to join our administration team in Pozuelo de Alarcón, Madrid.\nThis is a full-time, permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive professional to play a key role in the day-to-day operations of a leading international school.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nProvide administrative support to the day-to-day operations of the school, ensuring the smooth running of the administration office.\nAssist with finance administration, including billing support, accounts receivable/payable administration, and responding to routine queries from parents and staff.\nSupport the coordination and administration of school trips, excursions, and extracurricular activities, including logistics, documentation, and communications.\nPrepare and distribute school communications, including newsletters, bulletins, and operational updates for parents and staff.\nAssist with HR administration, including onboarding activities, employee documentation, training records, and compliance-related processes.\nMaintain accurate records and data across school administrative systems and databases.\nSupport calendar management, scheduling, and general operational coordination across different areas of the school.\nProvide reception cover when required and act as a professional first point of contact for visitors, staff, students, and families.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and support a high standard of service across the school community.\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:\nPrevious experience in an administrative role, preferably within a school or educational environment.\nExcellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.\nThe ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.A proactive, professional, and service-oriented approach.\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\nExperience working with digital administrative systems and databases.\nFluency in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate confidently in a professional environment.\nSAFEGUARDING STATEMENT:\nInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
