In 2023, Inspired was recognised by Beauhurst as one of the UK's top 10 highest-value private companies.\nROLE SUMMARY:\nReporting into the Head of Data & Analytics, the Senior Data Analyst is a key member of the team focused on delivering and enhancing the data & insights solutions across Inspired Education Group. The role designs and implements complex data mappings, transformations, ETL processes and data validations, and creates data flow processes, automations, data analysis, data models and ad hoc reporting. It identifies opportunities to drive incremental revenue that impact the customer journey and improves measurement and reporting across all enrolment and marketing functions.\nWorking across SQL, Python, PowerBI, AI assistants and MS Office tools, the team is responsible for driving data driven decision making across Marketing and the wider organisation.\nThe ideal candidate is self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong analytical aptitude and problem-solving skills, builds relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and translates their requirements into data solutions.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nData Analysis and Data Quality\nOwn data quality, analysis and forecasting across school systems, supporting enrolment, recruitment and planning.\nPartner with Data, Admissions, Finance and Engineering teams to maintain accurate, accessible and reliable data.\nMarketing and Customer Insight\nProvide data-driven insights and Power BI reporting to improve customer acquisition and marketing performance.\nDevelop analytics capabilities across customer journeys, digital performance and attribution.\nAcademic Data, KPIs and Governance\nSupport the management of academic KPIs, governance standards and reporting consistency across the global school network.\nDeliver analysis, data modelling and system integrations to enhance educational performance reporting.\nReporting and Benchmarking\nBuild Power BI dashboards and executive reporting that provide clear visibility of academic performance and trends.\nCombine multiple data sources to support evidence-based decision-making across the Group.\nStakeholder Communication and Partnership\nWork closely with school, regional and functional teams to improve reporting, systems and data capabilities.\nTrain and support users, translating complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.\nTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:\nEssential\n3+ years in a data analytics role\nSQL: expert knowledge and practical experience with de-normalisation, time series and materialised views\nExperience of working in a large, matrix organisation\nData visualisation with Power BI, DAX and Azure Analysis Services, considering access control, filtering and data protection segmentation aligned with GDPR\nCode or no-code ETL background, including data cleansing, data integrity and troubleshooting\nStrong understanding of data modelling, data governance and master data management principles, applied to enterprise and academic reporting\nDesirable\nExperience of implementing or integrating education systems, student information systems or assessment platforms\nExperience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure Data Services or modern cloud data platforms\nUnderstanding of IB, A-Level, GCSE, AP or other international curriculum assessment frameworks\nSAFEGUARDING STATEMENT:\nInspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
