This position plays an important role in supporting our surgical services by ensuring medical instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, inspected, assembled, sterilized, and stored according to established standards and infection prevention protocols.\nThis would be a Part Time role at 60+ hours per month. (some weeks would be more hours than others).\nCandidate would need to be available on Weekends as well as weekdays.\nWage: 23 - 29/ hour\nThe successful candidate will be organized, dependable, and committed to maintaining a safe and sterile environment for our patients and surgical team.\nKey Responsibilities\nClean, disinfect, inspect, assemble, package, and sterilize reusable medical instruments and surgical equipment.\nFollow established medical device reprocessing procedures and infection prevention and control standards.\nOperate sterilization and reprocessing equipment according to manufacturer instructions and clinic protocols.\nMonitor and document sterilization cycles, biological indicators, chemical indicators, and quality control results as required.\nInspect instruments for cleanliness, damage, and proper function before releasing them for use.\nMaintain accurate reprocessing records and documentation to support traceability.\nPrepare and organize surgical instrument trays and supplies for scheduled procedures.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe reprocessing area.\nMonitor inventory levels and report damaged, missing, or inadequate supplies.\nFollow workplace health and safety policies, including the appropriate use of personal protective equipment.\nWork collaboratively with the surgical team and other clinic staff to support procedures, manufacturer instructions, and established protocols.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to handle instruments and equipment safely and perform the physical duties associated with the
