In this role the Field Support Technician is Inspiren's on-the-ground presence at senior living communities - supporting site installation, site readiness, device servicing, and quality assurance for Inspiren's connected devices (AUGi, Sense, Help Buttons, Gateways, and Links). Working alongside the Implementation Manager (IM) and Support Teams, this role provides hands-on field support before, during, and after installation: confirming site readiness, performing quality checks on installed devices, assisting with placement and servicing as directed, and troubleshooting exceptions in real time.\nWhat You'll Do\n Site Readiness & Walkthroughs\nConduct room-by-room walkthroughs to confirm device placement and counts using Inspiren's mapping/walkthrough tools\n\nPerform wireless network (Wi-Fi) scans\n\nCapture room naming, device counts, and placement data per Inspiren conventions\n\nFlag exceptions, access issues, or placement ambiguity to the IM in real time\n\nDevice Support & Quality Assurance\nAssist with mounting, cable management, and power confirmation for AUGi, Sense, Help Button, Gateway, and Link devices as directed by the IM\n\nPerform quality assurance checks confirming installed devices meet Inspiren's placement and configuration standards\n\nProvide ongoing field support for previously installed devices, including troubleshooting, minor adjustments, and device swaps/replacements\n\nMaintain an installation/service log documenting devices serviced, locations, and exceptions\n\nFollow cleanliness and control procedures per facility requirements\n\nUpdate spreadsheets/tracking systems with install and service status\n\nOngoing device maintenance, including servicing of individual devices or full installed communities post installation\n\nClient & Resident Interaction\nCommunicate professionally and respectfully with community staff, leadership, and residents and escalate issues as needed\n\nFollow resident privacy, dignity, and interaction guidelines\n\n Collaboration & Reporting\nCoordinate closely with the onsite or remote IM to execute the agreed project scope (via Slack/text at smaller or remote-supported sites)\n\nProvide end-of-day summaries and immediate escalation of critical blockers\n\nSubmit expense reports within timely manner\n\nWhat You Bring\nInstallation and device maintenance experience\n\nReliable full week travel availability (2-3 sites/week)\n\nComfort working in senior living/healthcare-adjacent environments\n\nStrong communication skills for client- and resident-facing work\n\nThrives in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities\n\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks without dropping details\n\nSkilled at managing customer/resident experience with professionalism and empathy\n\nHigh degree of personal trustworthiness and accountability (unsupervised access to resident spaces and belongings)\n\nPhysical Requirements\nStanding and walking for up to 8 hours per day\n\nAbility to lift up to 30 lbs comfortably\n\nAbility to climb up and down a ladder repeatedly throughout the day\n\nAbility to move furniture as needed for installation/service access\n\nAbility to get on/off the floor (e.g., for low-mounted device servicing)\n\nAbility to maintain composure and professionalism under physical and situational demands\n\nWhat You’ll Get\nAt Inspiren, you’ll help reshape how older adults live and age with greater safety, connection, and dignity.
