The ideal candidate brings recent banking experience, direct AML audit experience, and strong audit testing and workpaper development skills.\nThis is not an AML Compliance, AML Operations, KYC, or investigative role.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute risk-based Internal Audit testing across AML-related processes, systems, and controls\nLead walkthroughs with process, application, and control owners\nDevelop and execute audit testing procedures\nTest AML/BSA controls, transaction-monitoring processes, and system-generated alerts\nPerform targeted, transaction, and input/output testing\nEvaluate control design and operating effectiveness\nTest technology and application controls supporting AML processes\nReview basic application/system logic to understand and validate expected functionality\nObtain and independently evaluate supporting audit evidence\nIdentify and document testing exceptions and control deficiencies\nDevelop complete, audit-quality workpapers\nDocument testing methodology, evidence, results, and conclusions\nSupport issue and remediation validation\nCommunicate findings and conclusions clearly to audit stakeholders\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree\nMultiple years of hands-on Internal Audit experience\nRecent banking or financial institution experience\nDirect AML audit experience\nExperience personally executing audit testing from walkthrough through conclusion\nStrong audit workpaper development experience\nExperience evaluating evidence and testing control effectiveness\nExperience identifying, documenting, and supporting audit exceptions/findings\nUnderstanding of technology and application controls\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work independently in a complex, highly regulated environment\nRelevant Experience May Include\nAML/BSA Internal Audit\nAML transaction monitoring\nAML technology/application controls\nTransaction and alert testing\nSuspicious activity processes\nInput/output or data validation\nIssue/remediation validation\nApplication control testing\nTechnology Internal Audit\nRegulatory audit testing\nImportant Distinction\nCandidates must have been responsible for independently auditing and testing AML processes and controls.\nExperience primarily performing AML investigations, KYC/CDD, transaction-monitoring operations, regulatory compliance, policy management, or general Compliance activities without substantive Internal Audit experience does not meet the requirements of this role.\nAbout INSPYR Solutions\nTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
