This role has a strong emphasis on electrical systems and is responsible for ensuring MEP work is executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, applicable codes, and project requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep experience supporting critical power environments and commissioning activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nProject & Construction Management\nManage MEP construction activities from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover\nCoordinate MEP scope with construction teams, design partners, vendors, and subcontractors\nDevelop and manage MEP construction schedules, phasing plans, and sequencing\nMonitor budgets, procurement activities, change management, and cost controls related to MEP systems\nElectrical & Mission-Critical Systems\nLead coordination and oversight of electrical systems installation, including:Medium- and high-voltage power distribution\nUPS systems, generators, and paralleling switchgear\nCritical power redundancy strategies (N, N+1, 2N)\nGrounding, bonding, and power quality systems\nLighting, controls, and emergency power systems\n\nEnsure proper integration of electrical systems with mechanical and building infrastructure\nOversee testing, commissioning, and integrated systems testing activities\nQuality, Safety & Compliance\nEnforce quality control procedures and commissioning requirements\nEnsure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and applicable local codes\nSupport walkthroughs, inspections, and final acceptance activities, including energization planning and field quality inspections\nReview and manage submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and construction method documentation\nCoordination & Communication\nServe as the primary MEP point of contact for project stakeholders\nLead MEP coordination meetings and resolve technical conflicts\nProvide regular reporting on progress and proactively communicate risks or concerns\nQualifications\n8+ years of experience in MEP construction management\nStrong background in electrical systems supporting mission-critical or complex facilities\nProven experience delivering critical infrastructure or technically complex construction projects\nExperience independently managing inspections, documentation, commissioning, and turnover processes for MEP systems\nPhysical & Work Environment Requirements\nAbility to maintain daily on-site presence at active construction sites\nCapable of performing extensive site walks for multiple hours per day\nAbility to climb ladders, scaffolding, and access elevated work areas\nComfortable conducting detailed inspections involving small components and confined areas\nAbility to work extended hours as project demands require\nW2, direct hires only.
