This role will focus on auditing and validating data management, processing, and reporting environments as part of a broader regulatory remediation initiative.\nThe ideal candidate combines a strong Internal Audit background with hands-on technical expertise across SQL, Python, data analytics, and data management. This individual must be comfortable reviewing how data moves through complex environments, evaluating underlying code and transformations, testing controls, and documenting audit conclusions.\nKey Responsibilities\nAudit data management systems, data processing solutions, and data consumption processes\nReview and validate Python code used to process and transform data\nReview and validate SQL queries and statements used to transform data and generate results\nAssess Database Management Systems (DBMS) and associated data management processes\nAudit reporting and analytics solutions, including platforms such as Alteryx\nEvaluate derived datasets, data cubes, reports, and ad-hoc analytics\nTrace and validate end-to-end data lineage across processing, management, reporting, and analytics environments\nEvaluate data access, protection, and associated controls\nTest internally developed data and reporting controls\nSupport regulatory remediation, issue validation, and audit testing\nDevelop clear, audit-quality workpapers and communicate findings to stakeholders\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of relevant audit experience\nStrong, hands-on Internal Audit experience\nExperience within global banking or financial services\nSignificant data analytics and/or data audit experience\nStrong hands-on SQL and Python skills\nAbility to read and validate SQL and Python code from an audit perspective\nExperience auditing data processing, transformations, and reporting/analytics environments\nStrong understanding of data lineage, data management, and data controls\nStrong audit testing, documentation, and workpaper development skills\nAbility to independently manage testing and communicate conclusions\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nConsent order and/or issue validation experience\nRegulatory remediation experience\nAlteryx experience\nDBMS audit experience\nExperience auditing internally developed banking controls\nAbout INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
