W2 Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Position Overview\nWe are seeking a Design Verification Test Engineer to support the verification and validation of electronic hardware designs through hands-on laboratory testing and measurement. This role is highly lab-focused and involves executing test plans, performing detailed measurements, and verifying hardware performance against design requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, extensive test and measurement experience, and the ability to work independently in a professional lab environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute design verification test plans and validate hardware performance against specifications\nPerform detailed electrical measurements, including clock and protocol measurements\nBring up and verify new circuit boards and assemblies\nMeasure and validate critical interfaces and subsystems\nConduct verification testing on hardware under development, including portions of boards currently in design\nUse laboratory equipment such as power supplies, function generators, DMMs, oscilloscopes, and specialized probes\nDebug hardware issues, identify root causes, and document findings with clear technical analysis\nRecord, track, and report test results and issues using tools such as Confluence and Jira\nWork full-time in the lab environment, taking measurements and producing thorough test reports\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline\nStrong engineering background with hands-on test and measurement experience\nDemonstrated experience in design verification testing\nAbility to read and interpret schematics and PCB layouts\nExperience measuring and validating electrical interfaces\nProficiency working in a professional laboratory setting\nExperience with test execution, including test case generation, execution, and reporting\nStrong debugging and problem-solving skills\nPreferred Qualifications\nDesign experience supporting or collaborating with hardware design teams\nExperience with clocking, timing, and protocol-level measurements\nFamiliarity with verification methodologies and standards relevant to the space or aerospace industry\nMultiple years of experience focused on test measurement and verification (as opposed to purely design roles)\nStable work history demonstrating long-term engagement in prior roles\nWork Environment\nPrimarily lab-based role with daily hands-on testing and measurements\nClose collaboration with hardware design and engineering teams\nOur benefits package includes: \nComprehensive medical benefits\nCompetitive pay\n401(k) retirement plan\n…and much more!\nAbout INSPYR Solutions\nTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
