This role will focus on building and enhancing software update agents, supporting software deployment across satellite systems, developing automated testing solutions, and troubleshooting issues throughout the software lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong C and Rust development experience, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and is comfortable working across hardware and software domains in a fast-paced engineering environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain embedded software components using C and Rust.\nBuild and enhance OTA software update agents and deployment capabilities across satellite systems.\nDevelop and maintain automated testing solutions to improve software quality and deployment reliability.\nSupport software integration and deployment activities across multiple embedded hardware and software components.\nMonitor, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues identified during development, testing, and production operations.\nPerform root cause analysis of software failures and implement corrective actions.\nCollaborate with software, systems, test, and infrastructure teams to drive issues through resolution.\nParticipate in ticket management workflows, including issue tracking, documentation, and status reporting.\nProvide operational support and participate in on-call activities as needed.\nRequired Qualifications\n5 years of experience developing embedded software systems.\nStrong proficiency in C++ and/or Rust for production software development.\nExperience developing software for embedded devices or hardware-integrated systems.\nExperience with OTA software updates, device management frameworks, or software lifecycle management in embedded environments.\nExperience developing automated test solutions and supporting software validation activities.\nExperience troubleshooting complex technical issues and performing root cause analysis.\nExperience working across cross-functional engineering teams to resolve system-level issues.\nStrong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting satellite, aerospace, IoT, or other distributed embedded systems.\nFamiliarity with software deployment pipelines and release management processes.\nExperience supporting production environments and participating in on-call rotations.\nStrong understanding of embedded system architecture, software integration, and reliability engineering.\nAbout INSPYR Solutions\nTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
