This role drives employee engagement and strengthens organizational culture by delivering impactful, high-quality events that foster connection and reinforce a sense of belonging across the workforce. The contractor will apply an advanced event management skill set to lead moderately complex work across multiple campuses or the enterprise with notable impact and limited supervision.\nResponsibilities\nProvide input on and influence the overall strategic direction of moderately complex enterprise events.\nLead the development of plans, tactics, and goals for the program area using data-driven and qualitative insights.\nConduct research and analysis and provide recommendations for event strategies and improvements.\nManage the full event life cycle from concept through execution for complex, multifaceted events, tournaments, group outings, discounted ticket programs, and virtual offerings, including timelines, budgets, design, logistics, and communications.\nDevelop and maintain collaborative relationships with team members, leadership, key stakeholders, and vendors to support alignment, visibility, and event programming objectives.\nSecure and oversee vendor contracts, including preparing requests for proposals, analyzing bids, finalizing agreements, and coordinating venue site visits.\nProvide on-site management and operational leadership to support seamless execution, proactive issue resolution, and positive attendee experiences.\nResearch, propose, and implement new ideas to automate and streamline work, reduce expenses, and improve processes and efficiencies.\nCollect and analyze event data, present conclusions and recommendations, enhance existing events, and propose new offerings that address employee and organizational needs.\nBenchmark event offerings and results against industry practices and emerging trends.\nQualifications and Soft Skill Requirements\nBachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.\nMinimum of five years of relevant event management experience, including logistics, planning, and coordination.\nProven ability to lead projects from concept through execution and evaluation.\nAdvanced project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.\nSignificant experience reviewing and negotiating contracts.\nAdvanced written and verbal communication, research, analytical, judgment, and decision-making skills.\nHigh attention to detail, strong organization, and adaptability in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\nPositive attitude, initiative, flexibility, and the ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.\nProactive problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate needs.\nStrong customer service orientation and stakeholder relationship-building skills.\nAdvanced interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity.\nDesired Skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.\nExperience with Cvent or a similar event management platform.\nKnowledge of data-driven decision-making and post-event analysis.\nKnowledge of the applicable business area or event management specialization.\nOur benefits package includes:\nComprehensive medical benefits\nCompetitive pay\n401(k) retirement plan\n…and much more!\nAbout INSPYR Solutions\nTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
