The work is centered on understanding what data exists, who owns it, who should have access, what should be retained or removed, and how the information should be properly structured and secured.\nThe analyst will work directly with business owners, records-management partners, security teams, and engineers to help move a large volume of files and folders through cleanup, access remediation, and migration readiness.\nKey Responsibilities\nAnalyze large, messy datasets related to files, folders, ownership, permissions, and retention.\nIdentify and validate business and data owners.\nReview folder structures, access lists, and permissions.\nHelp determine what data should be retained, archived, reassigned, consolidated, migrated, or deleted.\nWrite PowerShell scripts to support data extraction, cleanup, validation, and remediation.\nWork extensively with SharePoint and shared-drive environments.\nPartner with stakeholders to document access requirements and establish appropriate RBAC structures.\nSupport folder restructuring and migration-readiness efforts.\nTrack progress across a large number of directories and stakeholders.\nIndependently drive follow-up and keep the work moving with limited oversight.\nRequired Skills\n5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, business systems analysis, data governance, or access management.\nStrong data manipulation and analysis skills.\nHands-on PowerShell scripting experience.\nStrong SharePoint experience.\nAdvanced Excel skills.\nExperience with RBAC, permissions analysis, access groups, and least-privilege concepts.\nWorking knowledge of IAM/access-governance concepts.\nExperience identifying data ownership and resolving access or permission issues.\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills.\nHighly self-directed and comfortable working through ambiguity.\nPreferred\nExperience with records management, Varonis, network-drive remediation, IAM/PAM tools, audit remediation, financial services, or NetApp is a plus.\nINSPYR Solutions provides Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other protected status.
