The ideal candidate will have strong Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) expertise, experience in mission-critical environments, and the ability to collaborate strategically with construction teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders.\nCandidates with owner-side construction safety experience are strongly preferred. Professionals from general contractor backgrounds will also be considered if they demonstrate significant experience managing safety on large-scale, complex construction projects.\nKey Responsibilities Include:\nCoordinate, train, and mentor onsite construction teams and internal stakeholders to implement effective safety measures.\n\nConduct risk assessments for retrofit projects and develop safe work execution plans.\n\nMonitor site safety programs and collaborate with project teams to maintain a zero-incident work environment.\n\nLead incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective action reporting.\n\nEstablish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to promote safety and operational excellence.\n\nEnsure internal safety processes are followed and project delivery expectations are aligned.\n\nDevelop and implement robust safety processes, standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nCollaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to evaluate the safety and quality impacts of new designs, materials, and construction methods.\n\nProvide strategic safety guidance across complex construction projects while ensuring compliance with established safety programs.\n\nSupport safety oversight across multiple nearby sites as needed.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nExperience working in mission-critical environments, including knowledge of proactive safety methodologies.\n\nExperience working within comprehensive construction safety programs.\n\nDemonstrated success implementing Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) improvement initiatives.\n\nProven ability to collaborate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams to drive safety improvements and organizational change.\n\nStrong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems associated with data center construction.\n\nKnowledge of construction industry standards, including fast-track design-build processes, project documentation, and contracts.\n\nFamiliarity with ground-up construction and greenfield site development requirements.\n\nExperience with retrofit projects in live mission-critical environments or occupied facilities.\n\nExperience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.\n\nCertification recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP).\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.\n\nAbility to travel to nearby project sites and accommodate occasional shift flexibility.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Safety and Health Technician (CHST) certification.\n\nPrevious owner-side safety experience overseeing large-scale construction projects.\n\nExtensive experience supporting complex data center construction or other mission-critical infrastructure projects.\n\nGeneral contractor safety experience involving large-scale, technically complex builds and strategic safety oversight.\n\nExperience developing safety standards, implementing continuous improvement programs, and driving cross-functional safety initiatives.\n\nDemonstrated ability to influence contractors and project stakeholders while maintaining high safety standards throughout construction and retrofit activities.\nOur benefits package includes:\nComprehensive medical benefits\nCompetitive pay\n401(k) retirement plan\n…and much more\nAbout INSPYR Solutions\nTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
