The selected candidate must be comfortable working onsite with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and leadership throughout the implementation and go-live process.\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced, hands-on NetSuite Implementation Manager to lead and oversee the successful implementation, migration, and go-live of Oracle NetSuite across the organization.\nThis is a 6-month contract engagement focused specifically on driving the NetSuite implementation through a successful production go-live. The ideal candidate has successfully led multiple end-to-end NetSuite implementations and understands the complexities of ERP migrations, business process transformation, data conversion, system integrations, testing, and deployment.\nThis individual will serve as the primary point of accountability for the implementation, working closely with executive leadership, Finance, Operations, internal stakeholders, and third-party implementation partners to ensure the project remains on schedule, meets business requirements, and is ready for a successful launch.\nWe are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, take ownership of an active implementation, identify risks, drive decisions, and successfully lead the organization through go-live. This is a hands-on implementation leadership role rather than a long-term IT strategy or operational management position.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetSuite Implementation Leadership\nLead and manage the end-to-end NetSuite implementation, from the current project phase through production go-live.\nTake ownership of the implementation roadmap, project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and overall execution.\nCoordinate internal business teams, technical resources, and external NetSuite implementation partners.\nEnsure NetSuite configurations, workflows, and integrations align with business and operational requirements.\nIdentify implementation gaps, project risks, and potential delays while developing and executing mitigation plans.\nDrive project accountability and ensure all teams meet established deadlines.\nBusiness Process & Stakeholder Management\nPartner closely with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and executive leadership to understand business requirements and ensure successful system adoption.\nFacilitate workshops, requirements discussions, process mapping, and design decisions.\nEnsure NetSuite supports key business processes, including financial management, procurement, inventory, order management, and operational reporting, as applicable.\nIdentify opportunities to standardize and improve business processes during implementation.\nAct as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the NetSuite implementation partner.\nData Migration, Integrations & Testing\nOversee data migration activities, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, reconciliation, and conversion.\nCoordinate integrations between NetSuite and existing enterprise applications or third-party systems.\nLead testing strategies, including system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-to-end business process validation.\nEnsure critical defects and system issues are identified, prioritized, and resolved before go-live.\nValidate system readiness, data accuracy, and operational functionality.\nGo-Live Planning & Execution\nDevelop and manage a comprehensive NetSuite cutover and go-live plan.\nCoordinate final data migration, system validation, user readiness, and production deployment activities.\nEstablish go-live readiness criteria and facilitate go/no-go decisions with leadership.\nLead go-live activities, troubleshooting, issue escalation, and resolution.\nCoordinate post-go-live stabilization and hypercare support to ensure business continuity.\nEnsure documentation, knowledge transfer, and transition plans are completed before the engagement concludes.\nProject Management & Reporting\nMaintain project schedules, status reports, risk registers, issue logs, and decision trackers.\nProvide regular updates to executive leadership regarding implementation progress, risks, and key milestones.\nManage implementation partner performance, deliverables, and project dependencies.\nEscalate critical issues and proactively drive resolution to protect the go-live timeline.\nEnsure project deliverables are completed within the established six-month engagement.\nRequired Qualifications\n7+ years of ERP implementation or enterprise systems project management experience.\nDirect experience leading multiple Oracle NetSuite implementations through successful production go-live.\nProven experience managing end-to-end NetSuite implementations, migrations, or enterprise rollouts.\nStrong understanding of NetSuite functionality, business processes, configuration, integrations, and implementation methodologies.\nDemonstrated experience managing ERP cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-production stabilization.\nExperience overseeing data migration, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment readiness.\nStrong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes within NetSuite, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting.\nExperience managing third-party NetSuite implementation partners and coordinating cross-functional project teams.\nAbility to identify and resolve complex implementation challenges while maintaining aggressive project timelines.\nStrong executive communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership, and drive results with minimal oversight.\nWillingness and ability to travel regularly to Baton Rouge, LA and Natchez, MS.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience leading NetSuite implementations within energy, fuel distribution, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, or industrial services environments.\nExperience with NetSuite OneWorld, SuiteSuccess, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteFlow, or related NetSuite capabilities.\nExperience implementing NetSuite across multiple locations or business entities.\nStrong background in financial systems implementations and accounting process transformation.\nExperience taking over an in-progress or at-risk ERP implementation and successfully driving it through go-live.\nNetSuite certifications or PMP certification
