Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to respond quickly to operational needs. You will be responsible for installing hardware, troubleshooting systems, maintaining documentation, and resolving issues within the data center.\nKey Success Factors\n1+ years of relevant experience in computer/server hardware troubleshooting or related IT field\nExperience with Fiber, OTDR Testing, and Ethernet. \nRFC/BERT/10GIG Testing.\nMaintenance on Servers and Switches. \nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nAbility to independently resolve tickets and follow SOPs\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience using ticketing systems to manage tasks and priorities\nExperience working in a data center environment\nAssociate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent professional/military experience in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, network engineering)\nDay to Day\nInstall and maintain server racks and hardware components\nPerform break-fix repairs and troubleshoot hardware and network issues\nRespond to operational incidents impacting service availability and escalate when necessary\nAct as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders (engineers, vendors, contractors, etc.)\nParticipate in on-call rotations, scheduled maintenance, and change management activities\nCreate and maintain documentation; contribute to process improvements\nAssist in training and onboarding new team members\nOur benefits package includes:\n· Competitive weekly pay!\n· Potential opportunities for overtime\n· Opportunities to get OSHA 10 certified\n· Earn money for referrals!
