Duties:\nOwning payroll activities from data review through final processing, investigating discrepancies, working with payroll systems, and addressing tax-related questions.\nManage recurring payroll cycles for both hourly and salaried employees.\nReview payroll inputs and identify issues before payroll is finalized.\nHandle earnings, deductions, adjustments, bonuses, timekeeping information, and other payroll changes.\nProcess special and off-cycle payrolls when required.\nResearch employee payroll questions and provide timely resolutions.\nInvestigate differences between expected and actual payroll results.\nSupport payroll activities for employees located in Canada as well as the U.S.\nApply appropriate Canadian payroll rules relating to taxes, deductions, remittances, and reporting.\nAssist with Canadian year-end requirements and related reconciliations.\nSupport U.S. payroll tax activities and respond to payroll tax notices or inquiries.\nReconcile payroll information and investigate variances between payroll, tax, and accounting records.\nGenerate payroll reports and use reporting to identify errors.\nParticipate in payroll system changes, upgrades, testing, and implementation activities.\nValidate payroll results.\nIdentify ways to simplify payroll processes, strengthen controls, and improve accuracy.\nProvide knowledge and day-to-day assistance to other members of the payroll team.\nRequired:\n3 years of Recent and hands-on Canadian payroll experience.\nWorking knowledge of Canadian payroll taxes, deductions, remittances, and year-end requirements.\nStrong U.S. payroll with multi state and entities.\nAbility to provide guidance and training to payroll team members on processes, system functionality, and resolving payroll issues.\nDirect ADP Workforce Now experience.\nExperience troubleshooting payroll discrepancies and resolving employee payroll issues.\nExperience with payroll reconciliations and year-end activities.\nComfortable working with payroll reports and large amounts of payroll data.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to work independently and be a team player!\nPayroll certification such as CPP, PCP preferred not a must\nAbout INSPYR Solutions\nTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
