This role leads the definition, evolution, and execution of scalable, data-driven web products that support real time and post job automated drilling performance, operational workflows, and decision making across the organization and customer base.\nThe Product Manager owns the definition of the \"whole product,” including user experience, data architecture considerations, service delivery workflows, and operational support processes. This role serves as the primary interface between engineering, design, data, commercial teams, leadership, and end users-translating deep operational understanding and product vision into clear requirements, measurable outcomes, and delivered value. A strong understanding of modern web development, cloud platforms, and analytics-driven decision making within operational drilling environments is essential.\nQualifications\n7+ years of experience in product management, software development, or digital product roles\n3+ years of hands-on product management experience owning web or cloud-based applications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline\nStrong understanding of modern web technologies, cloud platforms, and software development lifecycles\nDemonstrated ability to define product vision and translate it into executable roadmaps\nProven experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex digital products\nStrong data literacy, including defining metrics, analyzing usage data, and driving decisions from insights\nExperience using Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar tools for backlog management and product execution\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nMBA or Master's degree in a technology, analytics, or business-related discipline\nExperience with cloud native platforms, data analytics, or enterprise SaaS products\nBackground in industrial, energy, or operational technology environments\nExperience working closely with UX/UI designers and data visualization tools\nPrevious experience in customer-facing or commercial support roles\nBEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES\nStrong product ownership mindset with a bias toward action and outcomes\nStrategic thinker who can operate effectively at both vision and execution levels\nHighly analytical and comfortable using data to inform decisions\nStrong collaborator who can facilitate discussion, debate, and alignment across teams\nExcellent organizational and time management skills\nClear, persuasive communicator who can influence without authority\nDetail oriented, self-motivated, and accountable\nAdaptable and effective in a fast paced, evolving environment\nDemonstrates passion for building high-quality digital products that deliver real value\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS\nOccasional travel might be required (less than 25% of time).\nResponsibilities\nProduct Vision & Strategy: Own and clearly communicate the product vision for cloud applications that support real time and post job drilling operations, translating business objectives and operational user needs into a cohesive, long term product strategy.\nProduct Roadmap Development: Develop, maintain, and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy, customer value, and technical feasibility.\nWeb & Cloud Product Leadership: Lead the development of modern, scalable web applications, partnering closely with engineering on architecture, performance, security, scalability, and reliability in operational drilling environments.\nDrilling Operations Context & Validation: Ensure cloud applications are designed with a deep understanding of drilling workflows, operational constraints, and field realities. Validate product decisions through close engagement with rig operations, engineers, and end users to ensure solutions are practical, reliable, and drive measurable performance improvement.\nCross-Functional Team Leadership: Work with a cross-functional product team, including software developers, product designers, data scientists, and operations, to deliver high quality cloud solutions.\nRequirements & Execution: Translate product vision into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Own backlog prioritization and execution to ensure efficient delivery of value.\nStakeholder & Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary product interface with internal stakeholders and customers to gather feedback, validate assumptions, and ensure solutions deliver real world value.\nMarket & Competitive Strategy: Maintain a strong understanding of the drilling technology landscape, including trends in drilling data analytics, automation, and decision support tools used by operators and contractors.
