This role will focus on managing cross-functional software programs through the planning and execution phases while working with researchers and engineers. Other aspects of the job will include communicating with stakeholders, coordinating resources and timelines, and interfacing with partner teams in research.\nRESPONSIBILITIES \nWork with internal research/engineering teams to define roadmaps/milestones,\ntrack statuses of multiple projects, lead regular check-ins (weekly, monthly,\nquarterly, etc.), identify and escalate dependencies and risks, seek and reduce\ninefficiencies\nDevelop, maintain, and hold teams accountable to schedules while accounting\nfor technical challenges and available resources\nCoordinate cross-functional interactions/dependencies and align disconnected\nteams\nCommunicate program progress to cross-functional stakeholders through internal\nposts and meetings\nOrganize and maintain information and task management systems\nDevelop new lightweight processes as needed and improve existing processes\nbased on feedback/retrospectives, keeping teams moving fast while minimizing\nunnecessary overhead\nWork with researchers to coordinate human subjects research experiments,\nincluding lab setup and data collection and analysis operations\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS \n4+ years of experience as a technical program manager, working with engineers\nor researchers and driving project progress and schedules\nExperience in software development, firmware, system engineering or\nhuman-computer interaction\nExcellent computer skills and proficient with spreadsheets (G Suite, Excel)\nExcellent communication skills, attention to detail, proactiveness, and\nresourcefulness\nExcellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent\nactivities with ambiguity and to work successfully under pressure\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS \nExperience in program management, process definition/improvements, relevant\ntools and methodologies (e.g. Agile)\nExperience with research, academic, and/or startup environments\nExperience working autonomously with team members from diverse backgrounds\n(scientists, engineers, program managers, supply chain, finance contacts,\nlawyers) and teams at different levels in the organization\nEDUCATION\nBachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in areas of\ncomputer science, machine learning, and/or human computer interaction required\nMBA, M.S./Ph.D. or other related advanced degree preferred.\nOur benefits package includes:\nComprehensive medical benefits\nCompetitive pay\n401(k) retirement plan\n…and much more!\nAbout INSPYR Solutions\nTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
