We are now looking for a full-time Accounts Payable Accountant to join our global Finance team and play an important role in our continued growth.\nAbout the role\nAs an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be an important part of our Accounting team, responsible for day-to-day AP activities across our Swedish and international entities. You will help ensure that invoices are processed accurately and on time, payments are handled efficiently, and vendor relationships are well managed.\nYou will work closely with colleagues across Finance and stakeholders throughout the organisation, giving you broad exposure to our international business. We are on an exciting journey of developing and modernising our current processes, with a strong focus on leveraging AI, and you will play an active part in shaping this transformation.\nYour responsibilities\nVerify, process and record vendor invoices for Swedish and international Instabee entities\n\nEnsure invoices are correctly coded, approved and recorded\n\nManage and book vendor payments\n\nPerform account reconciliations and follow up on outstanding items\n\nHandle vendor queries and invoice- and payment-related questions\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely approvals\n\nSupport month-end closing, AP reporting and reconciliations\n\nMaintain accurate vendor records and documentation\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve and streamline AP processes\n\nWork closely with the Accounting and Controlling teams and support other accounting activities when needed\n\nSupport the development and improvement of AP processes through the adoption of AI and automation tools\n\nAbout you\nWe are looking for a proactive and solution-oriented person with a can-do mentality who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get things done.\nYou have a genuine interest in accounting and enjoy working in a role where accuracy, structure and attention to detail are important. You take ownership of your responsibilities, work well independently and enjoy collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders.\nWe believe you have\nA degree or relevant education in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field\n\nPrevious experience in Accounts Payable or a similar accounting role\n\nA good understanding of accounting principles and invoice processes\n\nExperience with an ERP or accounting system\n\nA structured, detail-oriented and organised approach\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills\n\nA proactive mindset and willingness to learn and improve\n\nFluency in English; knowledge of Swedish is an advantage\n\nWhat we offer\nAt Instabee, you will join a talented and collaborative Finance team in a fast-moving international company.
