This role brings deep product expertise and strong business acumen to support the full sales lifecycle-shaping solution design, influencing product positioning, and ensuring successful customer outcomes from initial engagement through implementation.\nAs a member of the sales organization, the Solutions Engineer helps scale a high-performing sales motion by leading high-impact demonstrations, enabling field teams, and providing mentorship to less-experienced team members. By translating customer needs into clear technical and business value, and by channeling field insights back into product development, this role plays a central part in maximizing customer value and supporting Instinct’s continued growth.\nWhat You'll Do\nPartner with Sales to drive complex and strategic opportunities from discovery to close.\nLead technical discussions, presentations, and in-depth product demonstrations for prospective enterprise customers.\nTranslate customer business challenges into tailored solution proposals.\nCollaborate closely with Marketing to refine messaging, collateral, and demo narratives that resonate with veterinary decision-makers.\nWork cross-functionally with Product to relay field insights, influence roadmap priorities, and validate new feature releases.\nSupport sales enablement efforts by training new hires, delivering advanced product sessions, and maintaining demo environments.\nParticipate in on-site customer engagements, conferences, and enterprise value assessments.\nServe as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor both internally and externally.\nMaintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.\nAct as a peer leader for other Solutions Engineers, supporting skill development, sharing expertise, and helping standardize tools, demos, and sales enablement materials.\nWho You Are\nMust Haves:\n2+ years of relevant experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or related pre-sales roles.\nExperience collaborating across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.\nVeterinary industry experience.\nStrong presentation and storytelling ability, with a consultative approach.\nPreferred: Instinct Science PIMs experience.\nHubSpot or CRM proficiency.\nHow Instinct will Care about YOU\nWe offer a supportive and caring work environment.\nWe are transparent, open, honest, and empathic, both internally and externally.\nWe pay our team well. \nWe offer medical, dental and vision benefits and 401K with match.\nWe give our team owner-like flexibility over work and time-off, including time to innovate and Flow State Fridays.\nWe offer a generous stipend that can be used for almost anything to allow you to bring your best self to work.\nWe provide all-expense-paid time throughout the year together, including at our annual retreat.\nThe compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000.
