Join us and help create awesome solutions for the education world!\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nDemonstrate Solutions: Deliver engaging product demonstrations for Parchment’s suite of services across all verticals, including Higher Ed and K-12.\n\nCustomer Discovery: Engage with prospective customers to identify their goals and challenges, mapping needs to the appropriate Parchment solution.\n\nTechnical Leadership: Guide in-depth technical discussions with IT professionals about platform architecture, web services (REST/JSON), and systems integration.\n\nSolution Architecture: Identify or design effective solutions for unique technical requirements, providing consultative recommendations.\n\nDocumentation & Proposals: Gather and document requirements to ensure successful implementations; support technical elements of RFI/RFP responses.\n\nProduct Feedback: Collaborate with Product Management to provide feedback on new features and ensure alignment with customer needs.\n\nTeam Contribution: Share knowledge and experience to support sales goals, including mentorship, recruiting, onboarding, and enablement.\n\nCollaborative Pursuit: Work across geographies and with distributed teams to achieve company objectives.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nEducation & Experience: Bachelor’s degree required and a background in academic technology and/or solutions engineering.\n\nMarket Expertise: Experience with K-12 or Postsecondary education; strong understanding of the edtech market and SaaS business models.\n\nTechnical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of systems integration (LTI, APIs), XML/JSON, and relational databases.\n\nSIS Knowledge: Familiarity with Student Information Systems (e.g., Oracle PeopleSoft, Ellucian, Workday, PowerSchool).\n\nTool Fluency: Experience with Salesforce, Responsive, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace.\n\nCommunication Skills: Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate system capabilities empathetically and clearly.\n\nProfessionalism: Highly organized, analytical, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a high workload and respond to feedback.\n\nTravel & Location: Flexible location, must be near a major airport and willing to travel up to 40%.\n\nGet in on all the awesome at Instructure!\nWe offer competitive, meaningful benefits in every country where we operate.
