And that's where you come in:\nAs an Implementation Consultant, you will serve Instructure’s customers across EMEA by fulfilling both project management and technical consultation responsibilities.\nProject Management Responsibilities:\nInitiation\nPerform project requirements gathering to inform the project planning process.\n\nEnsure project resources know their responsibilities for the project and who is responsible, accountable, consulted, and informed at each part of the project lifecycle.\n\nAs appropriate, create project charter documentation for internal and external stakeholders.\n\nPlanning\nPrepare project schedule and aligned resource assignment.\n\nProactively identify project risks and create mitigation plans for those risks.\n\nCraft and coordinate communication plans that will keep all project participants updated and aware of the project status.\n\nExecution\nManage expectations with clients and internal resources.\n\nCreate and maintain documentation relevant to project deliverables.\n\nIn collaboration with leadership, ensure that the proper resources are allocated to projects in order to achieve project objectives.\n\nCoordinate with subject matter experts and escalation points to clear project blockers and to proactively mitigate risks.\n\nOrchestrate services delivery that includes third parties that are part of the project.\n\nManage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs in accordance with company change management processes.\n\nMonitoring and Controlling\nApply project controls to delivery processes to ensure on time and within budget delivery of professional services.\n\nProvide regular project status updates to internal and external audiences, and demonstrate ability to properly tailor communication to the different audiences.\n\nBuild and maintain project plans and templates within our project management tools.\n\nClosure\nWork with customer stakeholders to obtain acceptance for project deliverables.\n\nEnsure that project documentation is complete and provided to relevant stakeholders at project close.\n\nConduct internal project retrospective meetings to support continuous improvement efforts.\n\nAdmin Training Delivery\nDeliver core administrative training to clients on Canvas instance configuration, account structure, and best practices for system management.\n\nTechnical Consultation Responsibilities:\nCore Integrations & Configuration:\nSingle sign on (SSO) integration with identity provider platforms\n\nData integrations with student information systems, membership management systems, and HR information systems\n\nConfiguration of platform roles and permissions\n\nInstallation and configuration of LTI-compliant third party applications\n\nEstablishment of an account hierarchy that matches intended platform usage\n\nCustomisations & Strategic Solutions:\nIdentify and design ways AI can be used to increase customer time to value and internal efficiency.\n\nBuild and maintain technical documentation regarding integrations and systems involved in implementations.\n\nConsult on how to use JavaScript and CSS to customise experiences in Instructure products where supported.\n\nScope and recommend technical solutions, including gathering technical and functional requirements.\n\nGuide customers on the best way to leverage APIs for Instructure products to accomplish their goals.\n\nTechnical Support & Enablement:\nManage internal and external stakeholder audiences and tailor communication about technical and non-technical implementation topics for those audiences.\n\nResearch and understand client needs and objectives to support customisation of services, growth of consulting offerings, and improved customer experience.\n\nIdentify areas where additional support, training, or consulting are needed for yourself and for our customers.\n\nParticipate in team projects that support goals and initiatives of the team.\n\nHere is what you will need to know/have:\nAbility to confidently and effectively manage external stakeholders for project delivery.\n\nExperience designing, documenting, and communicating technical solutions in ecosystems involving SaaS applications.\n\nFamiliarity with multiple identity provider authentication systems.\n\nExperience and familiarity with APIs and an understanding of how they can be used to integrate multiple applications.\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\n\nAbility to determine priorities based on timeline and business value.\n\nAbility to use web conferencing technologies and web based tools like Gmail, Google Docs and Google Calendar to coordinate, manage and facilitate meetings.\n\nEligibility to work in Hungary, with the ability to work remotely from Budapest.\n\nWillingness to travel across EMEA for onsite client work, up to a maximum of 20%.\n\nExceptional candidates will also have the following experience:\nFluency in one or more additional European languages alongside fluent English.\n\nExperience delivering projects for customers in multiple EMEA countries, and comfort working across time zones and cultures.\n\nExperience with one or more programming languages.\n\nWorking knowledge of technology deployment strategies and best practices, especially in an educational context.\n\nExperience building custom reports and data visualisations, and helping customers interpret and understand their data.\n\nGet in on all the
