This is an extension of a long-standing partnership, and you’ll step into a team and sprint process that are already up and running.\n\nThe focus of this engagement will be working through technical debt within the application: independently identifying and resolving issues, improving the health and accessibility of the experience, and helping the team maintain steady delivery. We’re looking for a product-minded Frontend or Full Stack Developer with strong Next.js and Tailwind CSS experience who can get oriented quickly, troubleshoot effectively, and move work forward with minimal oversight.\n\nContract: September 14 – October 30\nCommitment: Approximately 20 hours/week\n\nWhat You'll Do\nWork through prioritized technical debt within an established web application.\n\nInvestigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues independently, escalating or collaborating when needed.\n\nAddress accessibility issues and help improve the overall quality and maintainability of the experience.\n\nWork within an established sprint cadence, taking ownership of assigned work from definition through completion.\n\nPartner closely with backend engineering, QA, and Production to align on priorities, dependencies, and delivery.\n\nContribute clean, well-scoped pull requests with clear documentation and respond thoughtfully to review feedback.\n\nProactively surface technical risks, blockers, or dependencies that could impact delivery.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nSenior-level experience as a Frontend or Full Stack Developer building and maintaining production digital experiences.\n\nExperience building modern web applications with Next.js, TailwindCSS and Typscript\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions.\n\nExperience working within established codebases and addressing technical debt.\n\nExperience identifying and resolving web accessibility issues.\n\nStrong development practices, including clean PR etiquette, sensible scoping, and responsiveness to code review.\n\nComfort working within an established Agile or sprint-based development process.\n\nStrong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, QA, and Production.\n\nThe ability to get up to speed quickly and make meaningful progress without significant hand-holding.\n\nWhat We Offer\nThe expected contract pay range: $60-89 per hour. Contract compensation is determined by location, experience, and skillset.
