The Asia Project Governance works closely with peers and leaders in Quality, Sourcing and Manufacturing to plan and implement new capital tooling and equipment at suppliers, execute improvement project management processes across suppliers and support project management training across our global team of project engineers.\nThe ideal candidate has project management experience working with suppliers of custom precision components for use in medical devices. Six Sigma or Lean experience is a plus. The candidate should have a strong quality background and the ability to prioritize day-to-day problems and occurrences. They also will have led teams through project management and governance installations. Built tools to manage projects with significant capital spend, including financial and resource management.\nResponsibilities:\nManage and maintain project portfolios to ensure projects are progressing through the governance process efficiently\nPartner with project engineers, project leads, and leadership to track project status, identify risks, and support timely decision-making.\nEnsure project data is accurate, complete, and up to date across governance tools and reporting systems\nUse Smartsheet and Power BI to track project performance, surface insights, and support leadership visibility.\nFollow up with project leads and cross-functional partners to close data gaps and improve predictability in reporting.\nDrive consistency in how project information is captured, maintained, and communicated across the portfolio.\nPrepare clear portfolio updates, dashboards, and summaries for leadership and stakeholder reviews.\nIdentify opportunities to improve the governance process, including workflow changes, reporting enhancements, and stronger portfolio controls.\nEvaluate and recommend tools, automations, or process improvements that reduce manual effort and improve data quality.\nSupport the ongoing development and adoption of governance standards, templates, and best practices.\nTrain project leads on the governance process, including project intake, stage gate expectations, data entry requirements, reporting cadence, and closeout procedures.\nProvide ongoing coaching and support to project leads to strengthen adoption of governance standards, improve data quality, and ensure consistent use of Smartsheet, Power BI, and related tools.\nAct as a conduit to the global PME Governance team to provide Asia project lead input and share back consistent procedures\nLead with teamwork and drive for results; able to work in a borderless organization and across multiple functions including, programs, engineering, purchasing and suppliers\nAll other duties as assigned\nEducation and Experience:\nBS Engineering Degree (Plastics, Mechanical, Manufacturing/Industrial, Biomedical) or related field\nTraining or on the job demonstrated (3 years) development of governance / PM systems and minimum 2 years Direct Project Management experience.\n4+ years of career experience in Project Management, Operations, Engineering, or related function, preferred.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nOutstanding team player who seeks and values diverse input to hone ideas\nHighly motivated, self-starter\nAppreciates the value of timelines and enjoys working in the focused environment that they create\nPreferred Skills and Competencies:\nExperience directly managing projects from feasibility through launch (type of project not specific).\nStrong written and verbal communication skills English and Native Laugage.\nCapital and Project Financial acumen.\nAbility to manage Supply Chain projects concept to production, including the authoring and oversight of IQ/OQ/PQ protocols for component manufacturing processes and secondary\nExperience working with a variety of software and data management tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, Smartsheet, Microsoft family of products etc.\nProject Management experience\nStrong follow-through and accountability, with the ability to proactively chase updates, close information gaps, and ensure commitments are met.\nStrong communication skills, including the ability to provide clear updates, escalate issues appropriately, and tailor messaging for different audiences.\nPhysical Requirements (if applicable):\nWillingness to travel approximately 10% to 25% of the time\nInsulet started in 2000 with an idea and a mission to enable our customers to enjoy simplicity, freedom and healthier lives through the use of our Omnipod® product platform.
