Controls Technician will be able to perform machine troubleshooting with programming tools. Insulet's Delivery Systems business also partners with global pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies to tailor the OmniPod technology platform for the delivery of subcutaneous drugs across multiple therapeutic areas.\nResponsibilities:\nInstall and troubleshoot control systems, servo drives, motors, HMIs and PLCs on high-speed assembly, packaging and process equipment.\nSome knowledge in the vision system with programming experience in python programming and/or C++/C Programming.\nDevelop, collaborate on, and review wiring diagrams and logic for new equipment, field retrofits, and upgrades.\nProvide extensive support for continuous improvement initiatives.\nAbility to respond in a dynamic and fast-growing environment.\nUtilize excellent troubleshooting skills with a hands-on approach to identify root cause and define solution.\nAbility to be independent and self-motivated.\nAccountable to driving maintenance process improvements in support of Insulet’s primary manufacturing objectives: Best Quality, Best Service, Best Cost.\nAutonomously interprets data to drive plant decision making and prioritization of reliability efforts.\nIndependently maintains and publishes operating scorecard to track and trend projects/improvements.\nProvide input and support for technology transfer and equipment design reviews.\nEnsure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.\nMaintain a cGMP compliant environment and operate within FDA guidelines.\nServes as back-up Engineering Maintenance Manager. Off-shift support may be required.\nPerform other duties as required.\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum Requirements:\nDiploma in engineering discipline or related field\n1-2 years of experience in Pharma or Medical Device environment with working directly on automated manufacturing equipment\nHands-on experience in setup and operation of automated production equipment\nAdvanced proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) and data analytics tools.\nAbility to fulfill job responsibilities in a fast-paced/high-volume production environment.\nPreferred Skills and Competencies:\nGood PLC programming knowledge for Allen Bradley, Siemens and Mitsubishi. Beckhoff programming is a plus.\nGood HMI/SCADA development and improvement knowledge.\nHands-on technical ability with assembly methodologies including locational methods, assembly setup, pneumatic actuators, servo motors, limit switches, sensors, robotics, etc.\nMechanical aptitude, technical ability, ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.\nTechnical knowledge of cam driven linkages, discrete component assembly, and automation\nGood troubleshooting skills with programming tools.\nExperience in imaging systems and software a strong plus\nGood knowledge of servo motion control concepts and robotics\nFamiliarity working within cGMP guidelines and ISO 13485/21FDA820 regulations.\nExperience working in a regulated industry, in particular consumable products.\nHave strong interpersonal and communication skills.\nExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and rigorous process discipline\nMulti-language fluency preferred (English, Malay, Mandarin)\nPhysical Requirements:\nRequired to stand up to 75% of working time per shift, with walking up to 50% of working time per shift.\n• Able to work off shifts (nights/weekends) as needed, 10% max.\n\nInsulet started in 2000 with an idea and a mission to enable our customers to enjoy simplicity, freedom and healthier lives through the use of our Omnipod® product platform.
