DevOps works with cross-functional teams, including systems, software, and test teams in supporting new product development and existing product maintenance.\nThis position will also assist with the implementation of software development tools to improve the overall quality of software, including peer reviews, software hazard analysis, requirements traceability, software code analysis/code coverage, defect tracking, software metrics, configuration management, software supplier quality, and software tool validations.\nResponsibilities:\nAssist in setup and automation of CI/CD pipelines for product applications and cloud-based services.\nDevelop scripts to automate manual tasks which improve engineering processes.\nContribute to manage critical engineering applications and infrastructure in collaboration with IT\nSupport efforts to identify, evaluate, and introduce new tools for continuous improvement\nPerforms other duties as required\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum Requirements:\nPursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering\nPreferred Skills and Competencies:\nExperience working in a command-line environment (Linux/Ubuntu/MacOS)\nExperience programming with scripting languages (Bash/Python)\nExperience working with software development teams\nStrong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills.\nSkills considered as a plus:Experience with Linux/Ubuntu system administration\nExperience with Jenkins to build CI/CD pipelines\nExperience with Atlassian tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)\nExperience programming using REST APIs\nExperience with software development involving Android/iOS applications\nExperience with software development using AWS infrastructure/services\nExperience with AWS CLI\n\nPhysical Requirements (if applicable):\nAbility to engage with team in a virtual workplace environment via Microsoft Teams.\nAbility to travel to US locations (San Diego) for on-site work.\nThis position is not eligible for employer-based visa sponsorship.
