Must be able to deal with changing priorities. Will inspect incoming and in process sub-assemblies to Insulet quality documentation.\n\nResponsibilities:\nPerform functional testing of devices as it pertains to lot qualification\nPerform package integrity testing of devices as procedurally required\nMechanical inspection of incoming components and materials.\nMaintain and file inspection records and reports.\nData input into the Insulet computer system.\nAssist Quality Engineers in development of test methods and device investigations\nConduct internal quality audits, as required.\nMonitor calibration contractors while testing equipment at Insulet.\nKnowledge of basic shop math is essential.\nExperience with FDA and ISO inspections documentation & standards.\nPerforms other duties as required. Education and Experience: Minimum Requirements:\nHigh School degree\nMinimum of 2 years as a mechanical inspector in the Medical Device Industry Preferred Skills and Competencies:\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to communicate at multiple levels of an organization.\nPC skill, word processing, spreadsheet, database.\nAbility to organize and judge priorities.\nAbility to generate and maintain accurate records.
