These focus areas include analyzing sales performance and market trends, generating and delivering actionable reports, addressing analytical questions for the field, and optimizing territory performance.\nThrough continuous improvement, strong analytical capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll be a critical enabler of Insulet’s commercial success, identifying opportunities and recommending improvements that align with company goals.\nWe’re looking for:\nA data-driven analyst with a proven track record of translating commercial objectives into meaningful KPIs and performance dashboards\nA collaborative team player with strong communication skills and the ability to partner cross-functionally with commercial stakeholders\nA curious and proactive thinker who can integrate insights between commercial strategy, performance trends, and market opportunities\nA results-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is comfortable handling multiple priorities\nResponsibilities\nDeliver Field-Focused Analytics\nAnalyze sales performance and market trends across assigned territories, districts, and regions to identify growth opportunities and gaps\nConduct ad-hoc analysis and answer data-related questions from the field, collaborating with operations and analytics teams as needed\nDesign and maintain dashboards and reports that provide timely, actionable insights to field teams\nDevelop and Report Commercial KPIs\nUnderstands company strategy, market opportunities, and corporate strategic imperatives.\nDrives linkage of corporate strategy to commercial objectives through KPIs and related insights.\nBuilds and maintains strong rapport with commercial business partners in sales, marketing, market access, and customer care to develop KPIs in support of their respective initiatives to ensure ongoing operational needs are met\nServe as a business partner to commercial stakeholders to define KPIs that reflect strategic objectives and field execution\nTrack, visualize, and communicate KPI performance through dashboards and executive-level presentations, using compelling, data-driven storytelling\nEnsure consistent alignment of metrics with commercial priorities and company strategy\nDrive Strategic Insights and Recommendations\nInterpret field and customer data to identify high-impact opportunities and inefficiencies across geographies and segments\nGenerate insights that support strategic decisions related to segmentation, targeting, coverage models, and resource allocation\nProactively “connects the dots” across commercial teams & IT to drive alignment of strategy and tactics as well as inform prioritization decisions.\nConduct analysis and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations for sales, marketing, and commercial leadership\nSupport Continuous Improvement \nPromote data-driven decision-making through automation, self-service analytics tools, and field team training\nDrives continuous improvement, automation, and self-service of insights consumption for the commercial team with tools (e.g salesforce.com), reporting and training.\nContribute to building scalable processes and tools (e.g., Salesforce) that empower field teams to access insights independently\nDrive standardization of KPIs and contribute to data governance\nChampion data quality, consistency, and efficiency in analytics reporting\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, marketing, economics, IT, or related field\n7+ years of experience working in commercial analytical roles of increasing responsibility, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, or commercial operations\nExperience driving commercial/sales process improvement\nExperience working with Salesforce.com and analytical tools, with advanced Excel skills (including VBA); preferred experience with Salesforce dashboards, reports, Lightning interface, workflows, validation rules, Process Builder, Visual Flow, and security configurations\nSkills and Competencies\nProficient in data storage, reporting, and analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Salesforce) to analyze data and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions\nStrong expertise in leveraging Tableau Prep Flows, Salesforce Connectors, and Data Flows to design scalable data integration, transformation, and automation solutions that support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.\nDemonstrated ability to develop and communicate KPIs, insights and related recommendations\nProven ability to provide business analysis and system development/configuration deliverables related to process improvement\nProactive problem-solver who anticipates execution issues in the field and collaborates cross-functionally to resolve them\nDemonstrated ability to support data-driven decision-making through structured analysis and modelling\nEffective cross-functional collaborator, working closely with sales leaders, operations teams, and data strategy groups\nFlexible and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment\nStrong communication and visualization skills to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations\nAble to speak and write English.\nPhysical Requirements\nTravel requirements: Minimal business travel as needed\nInsulet started in 2000 with an idea and a mission to enable our customers to enjoy simplicity, freedom and healthier lives through the use of our Omnipod® product platform.
