This role requires an understanding of U.S. GAAP and its application to corporate accounting processes.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport monthly close and internal reporting process by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations for accrued sales and marketing expenses, debt, and prepaids\nAssist in ensuring that financial statements and related accounting processes for the U.S. Corporate Accounting team are in compliance with U.S. GAAP\nAnalyze monthly and quarterly fluctuations in accounts associated with areas of responsibility\nAssist with completion of internal controls associated with areas of responsibility\nDevelop and implement accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes\nProvide support to General Accounting group with operational analysis as related to recurring transactions and the monthly account reconciliation process\nProvide support for accounting for new business initiatives\nAssist with various projects and accounting matters and drive value within the business, aware that the availability for work will be in Eastern Time (ET). \nPerforms other duties as required\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MSA / MBA a plus\n3-4 years of public accounting and / or corporate experience at SEC registered entities\n Preferred Skills and Competencies:\nProficiency with MS Windows and MS Office Software, especially Excel\nExcellent communication and analytical skills\nDeadline oriented with attention to detail\nExcellent organizational skills\nAbility to handle multiple projects\nTeam player and collaborative\nExperience with SAP a plus\nInsulet started in 2000 with an idea and a mission to enable our customers to enjoy simplicity, freedom and healthier lives through the use of our Omnipod® product platform.
