However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.\n About the role\nIntact is looking for a Data Scientist to turn complex data into practical solutions (prediction, segmentation, optimization, automation) and to generate actionable insights.\nWithin the Data Lab, you will work in a modern data ecosystem with multidisciplinary teams (data science, analytics, engineering, product) on high-impact end-to-end use cases (anomaly detection, personalization, experimentation, etc.).\nThe Lab emphasizes rigor (quality, validation, performance monitoring, continuous improvement), collaboration with business and engineering teams, and value-driven innovation, including generative AI and LLMs to speed up access to information, automate processes, and deliver responsible, measurable solutions in production.\nWhat you'll do here:\nDevelop Innovative Solutions: Utilize machine learning and advanced statistical methods to identify trends and patterns in complex datasets.\n\nData Transformation: Convert complex databases into actionable insights and recommendations that can drive business strategy.\n\nStay Current: Keep up with the latest trends and methodologies in data science and incorporate them into your work.\n\nTool and Platform Maintenance: Assist in maintaining and improving our data mining tools and platforms to ensure their efficiency and reliability.\n\nActionable Recommendations: Make strategic recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making processes.à\n\nross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to promote the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organization.\n\nQuality Assurance: Validate the quality of analytical approaches and outputs produced by other team members to ensure high standards.\n\nWhat you bring to the table:\nDegree in a relevant discipline (computer science, AI, mathematics, engineering, operations research, statistics, geomatics or related field), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
