However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for an IT Procurement Advisor to join our growing team!\nJoin our team of IT Procurement Professionals, where you'll play an instrumental role in driving business growth within a culture that champions collaboration, innovation, and commitment to making a meaningful impact on customers, employees, and communities.\nLeverage your sourcing, strategic thinking and business skills to expertly manage the contract lifecycle, cultivate strong cross-functional partnerships across diverse functions and locations, and enhance both personal and shareholder value.\nWhat you’ll do here:\nOversee a portfolio of business and technology team contracts with a focus on expanding the IT footprint / capabilities both in Canada and globally.\nUtilize a risk-based approach and market analysis to evaluate the relevant business, security, and legal requirements for each vendor relationship, and engage in negotiations to address needs and mitigate identified risks. \nOversee and manage the sourcing contract lifecycle (new, renewal, perpetual, etc.) to ensure compliance with corporate policies and governance, while leveraging expertise from cross-functional stakeholders \nAssess the contractual hierarchy framework, draft minor amendments using pre-approved legal templates, and administer contracts throughout their lifecycle.\nIdentify and escalate risks related to contracts and Third-Party Vendors, aligning with business needs and enhancing shareholder value.\nCultivate cross-functional relationships and networks with suppliers, business partners, colleagues, and leaders across different functions, divisions, and geographic locations.\nContribute to the execution of procurement continuous improvement initiatives.\nWho you are:\nStrategic Thinker - You are not afraid to challenge the status quo, balancing assertiveness, tact, business acumen, and diplomacy.\nFast learner - You thrive in a customer-centric, dynamic, and ever-evolving environment.\nDesign and business acumen - You comprehend business requirements beyond what is written and understand how your technical contributions will impact business processes.\nAlong with an in-depth understanding of the contractual framework, you have a broad knowledge of technology use from an operational standpoint.\nYou exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit that establishes credibility, and fosters repeat business for Procurement.\nWhat you bring to the table:\n Post secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, professional designation such as CPP (an asset), or related field\nExperience in sourcing, managing multiple contract lifecycles simultaneously, and a proven track record of delivering value\nStrong Microsoft Excel skills and analytical skills in critical thinking, decision-making, problem solving, and attention to detail.\nBe a team player.\nProven experience at managing multiple priorities simultaneously.\nComprehensive understanding of strategic sourcing principles and the capability to leverage this knowledge to implement projects and enhance strategies.\nMust be able to adapt quickly to a changing environment and remain informed about the latest contracting practices regarding privacy, data protection, and market trends.\nMust possess a personable, effective, and confident manner, with the ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.\nFor candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues and external vendors across the country.\nNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.\n#LI-Hybrid \nCe poste jouera un rôle essentiel au sein de notre équipe. | This position will fill an essential role in our team.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer\nAt Intact, our Value of respect is founded on seeing diversity as a strength.
