In return, we promise to provide support, opportunities and performance-led financial rewards at a workplace where you can shape the future, win as a team and grow with us.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team!\nWhat you'll do here:\nDesign and develop end-to-end AI solutions to tackle real business cases. \nLead the exploration, implementation, and testing of new NLP solutions. \nTransform complex and unstructured data into actionable insights and outcomes. \nUse analytics to understand software usage patterns and give recommendations on improvements \nWork closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions. \nCollaborate with data scientists, developers, designers, in a cross-functional team to build software in AWS. \nAct as a technical lead and reference for data science team. \nCoach and mentor junior members of the team \nLead and enforce data science best practices: coding, peer-review, experimentation and testing. \nWhat you bring to the table:\nMaster’s degree in a relevant discipline (computer science, mathematics, AI, engineering, or a related field), or any combination of equivalent education and experience. \nAt least 5 years of experience in data science applications and product development, with a strong focus on NLP and machine learning. \nExperience with Large Language Models (LLMs) - integrating with APIs and evaluation techniques. \nExperience with developing, deploying, and maintaining software in cloud environments (strong preference for AWS). \nMulti-platform production experience with the following: Python, GitHub, AWS, and CI/CD tools. \nExpert-level understanding of the underlying theory of machine learning. \nCan focus on vaguely defined issues requiring the application of a creative approach. \nAbility to collaborate with others and to coach junior members of staff. \nEnthusiasm for teamwork. \nStrong communication, time management and work organization skills. \nNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada. \nWhat we offer\nOur hybrid work model provides the balance between working from home and enjoying meaningful in-person interactions.\nWorking here means you'll be empowered to be and do your best every day.
