However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.\nAbout the role\nOur growing team is looking for a Senior Product Owner - Security!\nAs part of the Cyberdefence - Detection Engineering team, you will be the Detection Engineering Specialist who acts as a Cyberdefence Product Owner.\nWhat you’ll do here\nCommunicates with stakeholders to define the products or products' category vision and strategy ensuring their interests are included in the release.\nCreate, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog, breaking down epics into user stories and ensuring they are ready for development. \nResponsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right products are being built in the right order and release is developed by the deadlines. Ensures consistency between products. \nCollaborate with management and stakeholders to define/up to date the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, focusing on cybersecurity solutions. \nIndependently leads the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on business value. \nFollows-up with stakeholders and senior management on a need basis.\nInspires the team to deliver best-in-class products.\nResponsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right products are being built in the right order and release is developed by the deadlines.\nEnsures consistency between products. \nLeads, plans, tracks and is accountable for all phases of the products life cycle from the beginning of the project to the introduction into the marketplace. \nResponsible for products and/or products category evolution.\nEnsures compliance with Intact group policies and standards.\nSupervises and accompanies resources on internal and external audits\nMonitors performance and recommends schedule changes or resource additions.\nEnsures business objectives and targets are met through data analytics, and feedback.\nDetermines products KPIs and objectives.\nDiscovers and proposes new product ideas & design, develops concepts to strategically enhance existing products or product extensions.\nTranslates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.\nWhat you bring to the table:\nExperience in:\nSIEM with Microsoft Sentinel, AWS and GCP.\nSIEM/SOAR automation.\nGood understanding of Threat\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.\n5 to 7 years in cybersecurity.\n At least 3 years of experience in IT Security monitoring (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIP).\nCertified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO I, PSPO II) will be considered an asset.\nGood understanding of the Agile development process and best practices.\nStrong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.\nExcellent organizational and time management skills.\nYour experience and application knowledge in the insurance field, an asset.\nBilingualism (French and English) - Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.\nNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.\n#LI-Hybrid\nCe poste jouera un rôle essentiel au sein de notre équipe. | This position will fill an essential role in our team.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer\nAt Intact, our Value of respect is founded on seeing diversity as a strength.
