However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.\nAbout the role\nAs part of the Contact Billing program which aims to deploy a billing and collection system across all Intact companies and provinces, we are looking for a Guidewire Developer to support the migration of the Guidewire BillingCenter platform to Guidewire’s Cloud SaaS version.This position is part of the T Billing Development team.\nWhat you'll do here:\nContribute to the migration of Guidewire BillingCenter to the Cloud SaaS version;\nEnhance and develop functionalities that meet users’ needs;\nDesign solutions, analyze issues, and recommend appropriate approaches;\nPrepare work effort estimates for assigned tasks;\nProgram, test, debug, and document the solutions developed;\nParticipate in the development of Java applications and services in an Agile environment;\nWork closely with Quality Assurance teams, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders;\nParticipate in the developer community and contribute to the continuous improvement of practices, tools, and processes;\nPromote and apply software development best practices.\nWhat you bring to the table:\nA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a combination of relevant education and experience;\nAt least two years of experience developing on one of the Guidewire platforms;\nStrong experience with Java development;\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.\nBilinguism required (French and English) - Need to interact regularly with colleagues across the country;\nNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada;\nAssets\nGuidewire certifications;\nExperience with Guidewire Cloud SaaS;\nExperience migrating or upgrading a Guidewire platform;\nExperience with Guidewire BillingCenter;\nExperience with Spring Boot;\nExperience with Cucumber and RestAssured;\nExperience with Git;\nKnowledge of JIRA and Confluence;\nExperience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines;\nExperience working in an Agile environment;\nKnowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry;\nKnowledge of billing and collection processes.\nSkills we’re looking for\nA strong team spirit, commitment, and collaborative attitude;\nAutonomy, openness, and motivation to contribute to collective success;\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills;\nStrong organizational and synthesis skills;\nThe ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with different teams.\nIl s'agit d'un nouveau rôle au sein de notre équipe en pleine croissance | This role is a new member of our growing team.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer\nAt Intact, our Value of respect is founded on seeing diversity as a strength.
