However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our growing team!\nWhat you'll do here:\nPerform analyses of system and coding needs to identify the problems encountered and propose solutions including program specifications.\nDevelop system specifications, code, modify, test and debug computer programs under general supervision, in accordance with established planning and deadlines.\nMaster the technical and business features of the system to be able to explain them to other colleagues, while interacting effectively with users.\nTranslate requirements into technical specifications / software components.\nOrganize and manage production sessions.\nEnsure the design and modeling of programmatic solutions for complex problems achieving documented functional and non-functional requirements.\nReview design as part of deliverables (Code and Design Quality).\nDevelop and support complex components.\nSupport and guide the project team in development activities to ensure the quality of the code delivered while meeting project deadlines.\nWrite unit and integration tests for each function in which development is required.\nParticipate in the implementation of regression testing strategies to improve the stability of the application components.\nProvide support and maintenance (level 1) for the application and resolve complex anomalies.\nWhat you bring to the table:\nBachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering or any combination of equivalent education and experience.\n5-8 years of fullstak software development experience.\nAbility to analyze and synthesize data.\nExperience with GenAI development is an added asset.\nInitiative and ability to work under pressure.\nCan work in a team and detail oriented.\nFor candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country. \nNo Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.\nIl s'agit d'un nouveau rôle au sein de notre équipe en pleine croissance | This role is a new member of our growing team.\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer\nAt Intact, our Value of respect is founded on seeing diversity as a strength.
