The following opportunity is for our U.S. team.\nThe opportunity\nWe currently have an opportunity for a Software Developer I to join our Corporate IT team based in our Canton, MA; Boston, MA; Farmington, CT or Raleigh, NC offices on a hybrid schedule. This job is responsible for working closely with stake holders, product owners, and agile team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. The Software Developer will be tasked with building defined features, writing tests, and fully participating in the agile process. Some of the Software Developer I responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nContributes to discussions in meetings with product owners and agile team members to understand business requirements.\nFully participates in the system development life cycle of the company’s software solutions. Is expected to assist with the analysis and design recommendations. Will participate in the coding, testing and implementation efforts.\nResponsible for learning and following company standards, policies, and procedures within an agile environment.\nIs able to convert user stories into programmable solutions.\nDocuments and communicates project/task progress with their agile team.\nIs expected to complete task in timely manner.\nThe expertise you bring\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, degree from a Technical school or equivalent work experience. \nOn the job training is also recognized. \n1-3 years of related experience. \nWork experience in Property Casualty or Specialty Insurance a plus!\nOur salary ranges are determined by many factors including location, role, experience and skillset of the candidate. The following ranges displayed reflect the target base salary for new hires; however, your recruiter will provide more specific compensation details during the hiring process. The typical base salary range for this position is: $66,000 - $92,000, based on the factors aforementioned. For candidates located in San Francisco, CA; Washington DC; our Massachusetts based offices and the New York City metro area, the base salary range is $83,000 - $96,000. In addition to base salary, full time Intact employees are also eligible for bonus potential and a full range of benefits to include but not limited to:\nComprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance with no waiting period\nCompetitive paid time off programs\n401(k) savings and annual contributions of up to 12% of annual salary\nMental health support programs, life and disability insurance, paid parental leave and a variety of additional voluntary benefits\nThis position will remain posted until a final candidate is selected.
