However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.\nAbout the role\nWe’re looking for a Unit Claims Manager, Property, to join our growing team in the Mississauga office!\nWhat you'll do here:\nContribute to the achievement of corporate and regional objectives by measuring the performance of his or her team, ensuring the quality of claims processing, the level of compliance with standards, procedures and productivity.\nManage the activities of his/her team by organizing, planning and controlling the optimal use of human, financial and material resources according to the budget, while promoting teamwork and providing technical training.\nParticipate in the improvement of operational processes.\nMake decisions for his/her team regarding the processing of claims and the payment of indemnities in accordance with company standards.\nPromote the brand image and business principles to partners.\nConduct active file hearings throughout the year.\nWhat you bring to the table\nBachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent combination of education and experience\nAt least 3 years of experience as a Property Adjuster\nPrior team management experience is an asset\nStrong knowledge of personal and commercial lines insurance\nExcellent computer skills and knowledge\nCares about people\nBilingual in French and English is an asset\nCe poste jouera un rôle essentiel au sein de notre équipe. | This position will fill an essential role in our team.\nWe are an equal opportunity employer\nAt Intact, our Value of respect is founded on seeing diversity as a strength.
