This role is pivotal in supporting preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, inspection, calibration, and troubleshooting of Fire & Gas detection systems and Fire Protection Systems to ensure safe, reliable, and continuous operation in accordance with applicable safety standards and company procedures.\nWhat You’ll Lead and Deliver\n1. Preventive Maintenance\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) for Fire & Gas detection and fire protection systems\nConduct calibration and functional testing of fire and gas detectors, alarms, and annunciation systems.\nPerform periodic inspection, testing, and servicing of:\nDeluge Water Spray Systems\nWet & Dry Sprinkler Systems\nClean Agent Systems (Novec-1230)\nFire Alarm Panels\nGas Detection Systems\nMaintain portable gas detectors through routine inspection and calibration.\n2. Corrective Maintenance & Troubleshooting\nDiagnose and rectify faults in:\nAddressable fire alarm systems\nPLC-based Fire & Gas systems\nField devices and detectors\nControl panels and mimic panels\nAttend system faults, alarms, and failures and restore systems to normal operation.\nEnsure zero active fault alarms in NDU and SCADA systems.\nTroubleshoot issues related to:\nHorn strobes and alarm bells\nPlant emergency air horns\nFire mimic panels\nAddressable fire alarm panels\nPLC and marshalling panels.\n3. Fire Suppression System Maintenance\nMaintain instrumentation associated with fire protection systems including:\nSolenoid valves\nPressure switches (low/high)\nFlow switches\nPressure gauges\nPressure regulators\nLimit switches\nSupervisory tamper switches\nPerform maintenance and troubleshooting of Deluge and Sprinkler valve instrumentation.\n4. Fire Alarm & Control Panel Support\nProvide maintenance and support for fire alarm control panels including:\nNotifier NFS2-320\nSimplex 4100ES\nHoneywell XLS-3000\nResponsibilities include:\nPanel configuration and troubleshooting\nNetwork diagnostics\nNode configuration\nDevice addition and removal\nSoftware backups and system restoration\nReplacement of internal cards and modules\nMaintenance of backup batteries and power supplies\n5. Fiber Optic & Communication Systems\nPerform fiber optic testing and troubleshooting.\nConduct OTDR testing and fiber splicing when required.\nMaintain fiber communication network for Fire & Gas systems.\n6. System Upgrades & Device Replacement\nReplace obsolete field devices including:\nPlant air horns\nManual release stations\nFire detectors\nAlarm devices\nInstall and configure new detection and notification devices where required.\n7. Emergency & Breakdown Response\nAttend emergency breakdowns and fault conditions for Fire & Gas systems.\nProvide 24/7 on-call support during off-hours.\nRespond promptly to fire protection system alarms and failures.\n8. Documentation & Reporting\nRecord maintenance activities and inspection results.\nPrepare fault reports and corrective action reports.\nProvide detailed reports on active faults and system status.\nRequirements\nTo Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:\n7+ Years of experience in Preventive Maintenance, Remedial maintenance, Call outs, and worked in the Petrochemical plants, Oil & Gas & Industrial facilities\nMinimum DAE in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical or Industrial Automation.\nHands-on experience with fire alarm panels, gas detection systems, and suppression systems, such asNotifier, Simplex, Tyco, Ansul, Honeywell,Dräger, MSA, Safety, Viking Group\nFire & Gas System Certification\nIndustrial Safety Training\nGas Detection Calibration Training\nVendor certifications for fire alarm systems.\nStrong troubleshooting skills \nKnowledge of Fire & Gas system architecture\nExperience with PLC based safety systems\nUnderstanding of fire protection standards\nAbility to work in hazardous industrial environments\nGood communication and reporting skills\nWhy Join INTECH Automation Intelligence?\nAt INTECH, you will have the opportunity to work with a globally renowned industrial automation and digitalization technology company.
