The role supports managed switches, VLANs, routing, redundancy, OT protocols, network security, configuration backups, and network documentation to ensure reliable and secure OT communications.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDesign, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial copper and fibre-optic network infrastructure.\nConfigure and maintain managed switches, VLANs, routing, redundancy, ports, and network services.\nPerform network diagnostics, fault isolation, connectivity testing, and performance monitoring.\nMaintain industrial Ethernet, fibre-optic links, patch panels, media converters, and network cabinets.\nTroubleshoot network communication failures, link faults, packet loss, latency, and hardware issues.\nSupport OT protocols and communication interfaces used by DCS, SIS, PLC, SCADA, ICSS, and other industrial systems.\nMaintain network configuration backups, software/firmware versions, and approved configuration baselines.\nReview and implement authorized network configuration changes under MOC/change-control procedures.\nMaintain accurate network topology, IP addressing, VLAN, port, cable, fibre, and equipment records.\nSupport network redundancy, failover testing, commissioning, system upgrades, and post-maintenance verification.\nApply IEC 62443 principles, network segmentation, access controls, and applicable OT cybersecurity requirements.\nPerform RCA of recurring network failures and recommend reliability and performance improvements.\nCoordinate with ICSS, Instrumentation, IT/OT, Operations, Engineering, Cybersecurity, and OEM/vendor teams.\nMaintain test results, network records, configuration backups, failure reports, and CMMS documentation.\nEnsure compliance with PTW, LOTO, HSE, cybersecurity, MOC, and site requirements.\nRequirements\nTo Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:\nBachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, Electrical, Computer, Telecommunications Engineering, or related discipline.\nMinimum of 7 years of relevant oil & gas experience, including at least 3 years in industrial/OT networking.\nStrong experience with industrial copper and fibre-optic networks and structured network infrastructure.\nHands-on experience with managed switches, VLANs, routing, redundancy, port configuration, and network diagnostics.\nKnowledge of industrial Ethernet, fibre-optic systems, patch panels, media converters, and network cabinets.\nExperience troubleshooting connectivity, communication, packet loss, latency, link, and hardware faults.\nKnowledge of OT protocols and interfaces used with DCS, SIS, PLC, SCADA, and ICSS systems.\nExperience with configuration backup/restore, firmware management, version control, and configuration baselines.\nStrong understanding of network topology, IP addressing, VLANs, port mapping, and network documentation.\nKnowledge of IEC 62443, OT network segmentation, cybersecurity controls, and secure network practices.\nExperience with commissioning, redundancy/failover testing, upgrades, and controlled network changes.\nStrong troubleshooting, RCA, technical documentation, and CMMS skills.\nRelevant Cisco/industrial networking, IEC 62443, or OEM certification/training is highly desirable.\nWe Offer Competitive Benefits:\nGlobal Exposure: Opportunities to work on international projects and collaborate with global teams.\nCompetitive Compensation: A salary package that recognizes your expertise and contributions.\nHealth & Wellness: Comprehensive medical insurance for you and your dependents.\nLearning Opportunities: Access to training programs, workshops, and certifications to enhance your skills.\nInclusive Environment: A workplace that celebrates diversity and fosters collaboration.\nWhy Join INTECH Automation Intelligence?\nAt INTECH, you will have the opportunity to work with a globally renowned industrial automation and digitalization technology company.
