The role supports WirelessHART and industrial wireless networks, gateways, access points, RF coverage, device provisioning, cybersecurity, diagnostics, and integration with plant control and monitoring systems.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead engineering, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of WirelessHART and industrial wireless systems.\nMaintain and configure wireless gateways, access points, network managers, antennas, and associated infrastructure.\nPerform RF planning, coverage assessments, signal-strength analysis, interference checks, and network optimization.\nProvision, configure, commission, and troubleshoot WirelessHART field devices and network connections.\nMonitor wireless network health, device connectivity, battery status, communication quality, and diagnostics.\nTroubleshoot wireless communication, gateway, device, power, battery, and network-related faults.\nEnsure appropriate wireless cybersecurity, authentication, access control, encryption, and configuration security.\nSupport integration of wireless systems with DCS, SCADA, PLC, historian, ICSS, and other approved interfaces.\nSupport FAT/SAT, commissioning, loop checks, functional testing, system upgrades, and post-maintenance verification.\nReview wireless system performance and recommend coverage, capacity, reliability, battery-life, and technology improvements.\nMaintain system architecture, network drawings, device databases, configuration backups, test records, and CMMS documentation.\nCoordinate with Instrumentation, ICSS, IT/OT, Operations, Engineering, CMC, HSE, and OEM/vendor teams.\nSupport MOC, configuration control, cybersecurity assessments, and approved system modifications.\nEnsure compliance with PTW, LOTO, HSE, hazardous-area, cybersecurity, and site requirements.\nRequirements\nTo Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:\nBachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.\nMinimum 7 years of relevant oil & gas experience, including at least 3 years in industrial wireless systems/instrumentation.\nStrong knowledge of WirelessHART and industrial wireless architecture.\nExperience with wireless gateways, access points, network managers, antennas, and RF infrastructure.\nCompetent in RF planning, coverage assessment, signal analysis, interference troubleshooting, and network optimization.\nHands-on experience with WirelessHART device provisioning, configuration, commissioning, and diagnostics.\nKnowledge of wireless cybersecurity, authentication, encryption, access control, and configuration management.\nExperience with battery/power management, device health, communication reliability, and wireless performance monitoring.\nKnowledge of integration with DCS, SCADA, PLC, ICSS, historian, and other control systems.\nExperience with FAT/SAT, commissioning, functional testing, troubleshooting, and system upgrades.\nStrong RCA, reliability improvement, technical documentation, and CMMS skills.\nKnowledge of hazardous-area requirements and CMC/security requirements is desirable.\nRelevant WirelessHART/OEM training or industrial wireless certification is highly desirable.\nWe Offer Competitive Benefits:\nGlobal Exposure: Opportunities to work on international projects and collaborate with global teams.\nCompetitive Compensation: A salary package that recognizes your expertise and contributions.\nHealth & Wellness: Comprehensive medical insurance for you and your dependents.\nLearning Opportunities: Access to training programs, workshops, and certifications to enhance your skills.\nInclusive Environment: A workplace that celebrates diversity and fosters collaboration.\nWhy Join INTECH Automation Intelligence?\nAt INTECH, you will have the opportunity to work with a globally renowned industrial automation and digitalization technology company.
