Reporting to the Director, IT Data Analytics, this role will manage a team of BI professionals, collaborate with business stakeholders, and ensure the effective use of BI tools and data assets. The BI Manager will champion data-driven culture, oversee BI platform governance, and continuously improve reporting and analytics capabilities to meet evolving business needs.Support efforts to move our Oracle ERP on-Prem to a cloud-based ERP.\nWe are seeking a high energy, self-motivated, results-oriented leader, who is comfortable working in a global, team-oriented IT environment and has a proven success record to lead transformational initiatives using Data & Analytics.\nAccountabilities & Responsibilities:\nGeneral Requirements\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of BI analysts and developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.\nEngage with business stakeholders to understand, analyze, and document business requirements, processes, and reporting needs.\nOversee the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise BI dashboards, KPIs, and reports using Microsoft Power BI and other BI platforms.\nEnsure BI solutions adhere to best practices for performance, usability, data governance, and security.\nManage and prioritize BI project requests, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.\nFacilitate meetings, document action items, and drive resolution of issues related to BI initiatives.\nCommunicate project status, issue escalations, and resolutions to all levels of the organization.\nDevelop and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data sources, transformations, and report specifications.\nSupport system maintenance, including reviewing application patches, documenting test plans, and executing test scripts.\nBI & Data Analytics Specific\nDefine and implement BI strategy, standards, and processes to ensure consistent and reliable reporting across the organization.\nCollaborate with Data & Analytics Architecture and Engineering teams to integrate BI solutions with cloud data warehouse platforms (e.g., Snowflake) and data pipelines (e.g., Azure Data Factory).\nPartner with business units to identify new opportunities for leveraging BI and analytics to drive business outcomes.\nOversee data quality management and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of BI data.\nSupport data governance initiatives, including master data management and metadata management for BI assets.\nFoster a data-driven culture and promote data literacy across the enterprise through training and communication.\nStay current with emerging BI technologies and trends, advising on best practices and potential innovations.\nParticipate in steering committees and governance councils to review and prioritize BI and analytics projects.\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field.\n5+ years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles, including team leadership.\nProven experience designing, developing, and administering BI solutions using Microsoft Power BI (required), and other BI platforms (preferred).\nExperience with cloud data warehousing (Snowflake preferred), ETL/ELT tools (Azure Data Factory preferred), and ERP systems (Oracle & SAP preferred).\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively with business stakeholders to understand priorities and deliver impactful BI solutions.\nExperience in a manufacturing or operational setting is desirable.\nKnowledge & Skills:\nDeep understanding of BI concepts, data visualization, and analytics methodologies.\nStrong data modeling, requirements analysis, and solution architecture skills.\nExcellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.\nAbility to translate complex data and analytics concepts into clear, actionable business insights.\nChange management skills and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.\nFamiliarity with SDLC and project management methodologies.\nExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.\nAbility to lead change and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve tactical and strategic goals.\nSelf-starter, quick learner, open-minded, and problem-solver with a positive, collaborative attitude.\nAbility to deliver consistently under deadlines and execute with minimal direction.\nPeriodic travel may be required.
