This role is located in Tallahassee, FL, leading joint work with Florida State University’s Center for Advanced Power Systems (CAPS) as part of a Navy-funded cyber-physical security program.\nThe Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering Manager will serve as Principal Investigator (PI) on large, multi-year cyber research programs with an emphasis on Zero Trust Architecture development, cyber-physical resilience research, and threat informed defensive methods for naval power systems. This will include leading and managing technical research efforts, including developing cyber-resiliency frameworks for embedded control systems, coordinating modeling and simulation environments for mission level assessment, and managing task interdependencies between different parts of the program.\nInteger is a science and technology research and development organization. As such, much of our work entails developing solutions for complex problems that presently have no known solutions. To achieve internal and customer project goals all candidates must be able to conduct research, understand new concepts from other engineering disciplines on advanced and complex topics, and document findings in a way that is easy for non-experts to understand. The Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering Manager must be able to serve as a Principal Investigator and a technical contributor with a technical background to contribute to the development of new technologies and prototypes. The candidate must be able to oversee university partners, manage Navy stakeholder interactions, coordinate deliverables and SOW-aligned milestones, and lead multidisciplinary teams in cyber-physical research execution.\nWhat you'll do\nLead a team performing cyber physical system modeling, cyber risk analysis, dynamic cyber defense research, and feasibility studies for Navy relevant power systems.\nDirect research into AI/MLbased anomaly detection methods for embedded systems, including Bayesian, graph based, and adversarial approaches.\nManage integration of university driven research into power system security workflows.\nOversee design and execution of bench scale experiments, digital modeling environments, and controlled field demonstrations to validate cyber-physical resilience approaches.\nProvide engineeringleadership andmanagement including technical direction, scheduling, deliverable tracking, documentation quality, CUI data security, and coordination with external sponsors and research collaborators.\nLead technology transition planning, operator training sessions, and collaboration with Navy and industry partners to scale cyber-physical resilience solutions into operational power systems.\nContribute to business development by shaping new research directions, developing technical proposal content, and cultivating relationships with government sponsors.\nRequired Qualifications\nU.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.\nBachelor’s degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree and 5 years of experience, in cybersecurity, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related discipline.\nExperience leading cyber-physical systems and power systems research involving modeling, simulation, cyber risk assessment, and dynamic cyber defense design.\nBackground with state-of-the-art cybersecurity approaches, including AI/ML based anomaly detection, embedded systems security, and power systems cybersecurity.\nExperience managing engineering teams and multi-phase R&D programs with complex deliverables.\nAbility to design and supervise execution of laboratory and field based cyber physical experiments.\nExcellent communication skills, including documentation of complex technical findings and ability to communicate clearly with new customers and government sponsors.\nDesired Qualifications\nExperience with cyber research for power systems.\nProficiency developing digital modeling environments to simulate cyber physical interactions and mission
