In this role, you will ensure that Integer’s internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded with occasional direction, instruction and guidance from more experienced engineers and managers in your organization.\nYou adhere to Integer’s Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.\nLeads or actively contributes to the mechanical design and development of new products and their associated manufacturing processes, from initial concept through to production transfer.\nYou will contribute to the successful development and validation of products and technologies which will drive and support the future growth of the organization.\nReviews, initiates, and approves mechanical drawings 3D CAD models, engineering change orders, and technical specifications.\nYou will generally work independently with occasional guidance from supervisors or mentors to evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria, using judgment in making minor adaptations and modifications to existing specifications and procedures.\nYou will review procedures and plans prior to implementation as well as evaluate new or existing products, processes and materials for failure analysis and potential improvements.\nYou may participate in projects that require you to investigate, develop, document and implement new product and process technologies of moderate complexity and scope. \n Oversees and executes key phases of mechanical engineering work, including tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection, and application of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.\nYou will plan and execute engineering tasks concerned with unique problems or team challenges, which have an important impact on moderate programs. \nYou may engage with internal stakeholders and other functions to execute on project deliverables to realize successful project execution.\n Identifies, evaluates, and defines suppliers for mechanical components and outsourced manufacturing processes, ensuring alignment with quality, cost, and delivery objectives.
