Every day, our colleagues are challenging what’s possible and making headway to innovate new treatment pathways to advance patient outcomes and set new standards of care.\nThis Senior Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and supporting manufacturing process machinery, equipment and in the manufacturing areas. This person will maintain equipment to keep it running smoothly, perform tests and calibrations, repair or replace components and troubleshoot equipment operational problems. Interpret diagnostic and repair control systems. Dismantles and/or repairs devices to gain access to and removes defective parts using hand tools and power tools. Examines form and textures of parts to detect imperfections. Conducts preventive/predictive maintenance to equipment such as Multivac, Alloyds seals machine, vacuum and infusion pumps, molding presses and other manufacturing equipment’s.\nThe standard hours for this role are 3rd Shift - 10pm to 6:30am (Tuesday night to Sunday morning)\nRequirements:\nRepairs and maintains in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manual and manufacturer’s specifications: PLC system, machinery and mechanical equipment (such as packaging, sealers machines, and molding presses Multivac machine) in the manufacturing areas.\n\nSets up and operates welder, drill press, grinder and other metal working tools to make and repair parts.\n\nVisualize the digital logic of a PLC system.\n\nPerforms equipment repair/upgrades as requested by the manager or supervisor.\n\nAssists in the installation of new production equipment and machinery.\n\nAssist in the development, engineering and procurement of tooling, general production fixturing and instrumentation systems.\n\nMaintains tools and workshop clean and organized at all moment.\n\nMaintains optimum amounts of spare parts available on stock and properly identified and initiates requisition orders on time.\n\nMaintains records and documentation in files organized and updated. Assures that correct safety, environmental and security procedures are followed in all equipment operation at all times, in order to avoid injuries or accidents. Performs Preventive/Predictive Maintenance and routine inspections such as cleaning, lubrication, adjustment and replacement of components as required per maintenance procedures and schedule.\n\nUtilize manufacturer’s instructions, drawings operations and service manuals as required, during equipment repairs and maintenance activities.\n\nRealizes audits to facilities such as production machines, air conditioners and HEPA filters. Performs major repairs, troubleshooting or overhauls of production equipment and machinery as necessary.\n\nStudy blueprints, schematics, manuals, or other specifications to determine equipment installation, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance procedures. Performs other job-related duties as requested by the Manager or Supervisor.\n\nWilling to work extended and different shifts or weekends if need arises. Team work oriented and ability to work with minimum supervision.\n\nQualifications:\nTechnical School graduate or equivalent in electronic, or electromechanical education. Technical School courses preferred in electronic, mechanics, electricity or related field.\n\nThree (3) year experience as Electronic Technician or certified industrial mechanic in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device Industry.\n\nKnowledge in electronic and instrumentation techniques.\n\nGeneral Knowledge in Allen Bradley, Siemens, GE, Omron and/or Hitachi PLC system.\n\nKnowledge in Preventive maintenance software (Maximo or Oracle).\n\nKnowledge in Hydraulic and Pneumatic system, pumps and motors\n\nKnowledge in HVAC or refrigeration systems (desirable).\n\nBasic knowledge of computers system and software (Microsoft Office, SCADA software and Internet).\n\nAbility to work under unusual working environment such as noise, grease, and awkward positions.\n\nKnowledge in electronic, electricity and instrumentation techniques\n\nAbility to work with different hand tools and power tools.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of FDA, OSHA, EPA and ISO regulations and standards.\n\nAbility to communicate and read in English and Spanish.\n\nAbility to self-taught in the use of analytical, maintenance and service equipment.\n\nWilling and able to be trained and learn new technologies as the skills of an Instrument Technician advance with new technologies and applications.\n\nWilling to be on a emergency standby mode to handle emergency calls at all Integra Facilities\n\nWilling to work overtime and provide off hours call out support in order to continue 24/7 plant operations.\n\nWilling to work on third shift between Tuesday and Saturday, weekends and holiday\n\nSalary Pay Range:\n$16.83 - $23.56 USD HourlyOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
