This role focuses on executing standardized analytics, maintaining dashboards, and supporting cross-functional teams with accurate and timely data.\nThe Junior Analyst partners closely with Senior Analysts and the Senior Manager to support compensation reporting, KPI tracking, and commercial performance analysis across the Tissue Technologies (TT) and Codman Specialty Surgical (CSS) Global Product Divisions. This role provides foundational analytics support while developing skills in sales analytics, forecasting, and commercial operations within a global environment.\nSUPERVISION RECEIVED\nSr Manager, Commercial Operations (Sales Analytics and Opportunity Development)\nSUPERVISION EXERCISED\nIndividual Contributor\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nCOMPENSATION ANALYTICS AND INCENTIVE SUPPORT\nConduct basic modeling and scenario analyses to evaluate proposed compensation plan changes.\nAssist with compensation accrual reporting and collaborate with Finance on payout reconciliation activities.\nSupport annual and periodic quota-setting processes through data compilation, performance analysis, and forecasting.\nPrepare recurring reports and dashboards related to sales compensation, territory performance, and quota achievement.\nValidate compensation-related data from Salesforce, ERP, and reporting systems to ensure accurate incentive calculations.\nAssist in analyzing sales compensation performance, payout trends, quota attainment, and incentive effectiveness.\nSupport the administration, tracking, and validation of sales incentive compensation plans and commission calculations.\nSALES ANALYTICS AND REPORTING\nSupport the creation, maintenance, and updating of standardized sales dashboards and recurring reports\nPerform routine sales performance, pipeline, and forecast variance analyses\nCompile and validate data for monthly and quarterly commercial reporting\nAssist in responding to ad hoc data and analysis requests from commercial leadership\nEnsure data accuracy and adherence to established reporting standards\nDIGITAL ENABLEMENT AND SUPPORT\nAssist with Salesforce reporting.\nSupport testing and documentation of analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting enhancements\nCollaborate with IT and Commercial Operations teams to troubleshoot basic data and reporting issues\nFORECASTING AND BUSINESS PLANNING SUPPORT\nAssist senior team members with sales forecasting data preparation and analysis\nHelp track performance metrics in support of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes\nMETRICS AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT\nTrack and update KPIs aligned with Commercial Operations initiatives\nSupport analysis of workflow efficiency and basic productivity metrics\nAssist with documentation of reporting processes, SOPs, and data definitions\nCROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATIONS\nSupport Sales Compensation, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain requests with data pulls and reporting\nAssist in preparing materials for monthly operating reviews and business presentations\nLearning & Continuous Improvement\nIdentify opportunities to improve report efficiency, automation, and data organization\nDevelop working knowledge of analytics best practices, tools, and commercial processes\nParticipate in training and development to build advanced analytics and business skills\nKEY COMPETENCIES\nAnalytical Skills: Ability to work with structured data, identify basic trends, and perform accurate analysis\nAttention to Detail: Strong focus on data accuracy, consistency, and quality\nLearning Agility: Willingness and ability to learn new systems, tools, and business concepts\nCollaboration: Works effectively with senior analysts and cross-functional partners\nCommunication: Able to clearly explain data findings at an appropriate level\nTime Management: Capable of balancing recurring deliverables with ad hoc requests\nTechnical Curiosity: Interest in analytics tools, automation, and reporting improvements\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, Economics, or a related field\n0-2 years of experience in analytics, commercial operations, finance, sales operations, or internships in related fields\nBasic understanding of sales metrics, pipelines, and forecasting concepts preferred\nStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with formulas, pivot tables, and basic modeling\nExposure to global or matrixed organizations is a plus but not required\nStrong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to perform data validation and financial calculations.\nFamiliarity with sales compensation tools preferred.\nExperience analyzing compensation, payroll, financial, or sales performance data is a plus.\nExposure to sales incentive compensation programs, commission structures, quota management, or compensation administration preferred.\nSYTEMS TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED:\nMicrosoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)\nSalesforce.com (reporting and data extraction support)\nPower BI or other data visualization tools (basic user level)\nERP or inventory management systems exposure preferred (e.g., Oracle, MoveMedical)\nDISCLAIMER\nThe duties listed above are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed.
