Every day, our colleagues are challenging what’s possible and making headway to innovate new treatment pathways to advance patient outcomes and set new standards of care.\nThis Manufacturing Operator 1 (Cleanroom Assembly Packing Operator) will be responsible for using equipment including computer-controlled equipment to assemble and test components and products as well as operating various pieces of manufacturing equipment\nThis Manufacturing Operator - Assembly & Packaging (Neurosurgical Perforators) Assembled precision neurosurgical perforators and related medical devices in a controlled cleanroom environment following detailed work instructions and engineering specifications.\nPrimary responsibilities\nComplete tasks including dimensional and visual inspections per print specifications including First Article inspections.\nPerform operations as described by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) demonstrating consistently effective job performance encompassing good quality, productivity, and dependability. \nAccurately record and enter required information and data into manufacturing documentation and into manufacturing computers including quality inspection data and individual training records. \nEnsure personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local, and company regulations, policies and procedures for Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, as well as ISO and FDA compliance. Complete all applicable training requirements.\nCommunicate problems and opportunities to supervisor, technician or engineer in a timely manner.\nPerform Preventative Maintenance tasks as required. \nMaintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment and equipment.\nParticipate in team-based process improvement activities. Provide suggestions for manufacturing improvements.\nAssist in maintaining supplies needed for production area. \nWork closely with other manufacturing support areas to coordinate activities within the manufacturing area. \nDESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS\nA minimum of a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent is required. \nPreferring a minimum of 1 years’ experience in Production, Operations, Manufacturing, and/or related discipline in Cleanroom environment.\nPreferring experience working in a Medical Device manufacturing environment is preferred. \nPreferring experience working in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or another regulated environment is preferred. \nBasic computer skills are required.\nThe ability to work independently and in a team environment. \nThe ability to communicate effectively (read, write and speak) in English is required. \nBasic math skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute percentages and work with decimals, are required. \nThe ability to stand and/or walk more than 80% of the time is required.\nThe ability to lift to 25 pounds and to stand and sit for extended periods of time with repetitive motion.\nSalary Pay Range:\n$19.19 - $25.43 USD HourlyOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
