Every day, our colleagues are challenging what’s possible and making headway to innovate new treatment pathways to advance patient outcomes and set new standards of care.\nThe Facilities Engineering Technician II is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and continuous improvement activities on manufacturing equipment, production machinery, and facility support systems. The role supports uninterrupted manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment reliability, compliance with safety and quality requirements, and adherence to company policies and procedures.\nPrimary responsibilities include:\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on manufacturing and facility equipment in accordance withestablished procedures.\n\nTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems.\n\nDiagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate correctiveactions to minimize downtime.\n\nSupport production operations by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance requests.\n\nPerform equipment setup, installation, upgrades, and modifications as required.\n\nExecute maintenance work orders and accurately document maintenance activities within the CMMS.\n\nAssistwith validation, qualification, and commissioning activities for new equipment and process improvements.\n\nSupport root cause investigations and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).\n\nEnsure maintenance activities comply withGMP, safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company procedures.\n\nMaintain equipment records, calibration records, maintenance logs, and technical documentation.\n\nIdentifyopportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).\n\nAssistin managing spare parts inventory and recommending critical replacement components.\n\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.\n\nFollow lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, confined space, and other safety procedures.\n\nProvide technical guidance and support tomanufacturingoperators when required.\n\nParticipate in departmental training and maintainrequired qualifications and certifications.\n\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNo direct supervisory responsibility.\n\nMay providetechnical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior maintenance technicians, contractors, and production personnel.\n\nMay leadassigned maintenance projects or improvement initiatives.\n\nCompetency andQualifications Requirements\nStrong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and troubleshooting methodologies.\n\nWorking knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, motors, drives, HMIs, and automation systems.\n\nAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and technical documentation.\n\nKnowledge of OSHA safety requirements and safe maintenance practices.\n\nUnderstanding of GMP and regulated manufacturing environments.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nEffective verbal and written communication skills.\n\nAbility to prioritize multiple tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n\nStrong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.\n\nBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications and CMMS software\n\nExperience Level\nMinimum of 3-5 years of industrial equipment maintenance experience.\n\nExperience supporting automated manufacturing equipment in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred.\n\nExperience with troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation systems required.\n\nExperience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives preferred.\n\nPreferred Qualifications (Optional)\nAssociate degree in a technicaldiscipline.\n\nCertification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or related field.\n\nExperience working within FDA-regulated and ISO 13485 certified environments.\n\nExperience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).\n\nFabrication, or precision mechanical repair experience.\n\nLean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.\n\nSalary Pay Range:\n$26.21 - $35.38 USD HourlyOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by several factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
