The role requires the establishment and management of a multi-tiered, professional System Engineering team. Additional responsibilities include maintenance of Systems Engineering processes and procedures. The SE Manager is responsible for fostering professionalism, growth, and job satisfaction among team members. The role is required to collaborate with the other departments in the company in developing new products and supporting products in the field. This is a leadership position, part of the Israel Leadership Team.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n Development of the System Engineering team (40%)\nResponsible for the professional and personal growth of direct reports including coaching and performance management\nEnsures that the team has the required capabilities to perform their duties\nMaintains team’s satisfaction and growth.\nResponsible for keeping team members are updated with current and emerging SE methodologies, attending symposia and professional courses.\nDevelopment of the System Engineering methodology (20%)\nWorks closely with stakeholders from Quality, Regulatory, Software, LCM and others to ensure SE inputs are shared with the organization.\nEnsures SE is represented in project reviews, design reviews and other reviews.\nEnsures Systems Engineering processes, tools and procedures are current.\n Interaction with internal and external customers and stakeholders (10%)\nInteract with external customers to understand ongoing market trends and customer needs.\nInteract with internal customers to ensure developed solutions are in accordance with applicable procedures and guidelines.\nMay be required to attend CAPA, NC and other quality activities\n New Product Development (20%)\nEnsures that SE deliverables are accurate and complete\nPromotes a technical vision for Acclarent’s navigated products such as sensors and the TruDi® navigation system\n General (10%)\nCommunicates business related issues and opportunities with management\nFollows all applicable procedures and guidelines\nEnsures that direct reports follow all applicable procedures and guidelines\nPerforms other duties assigned as needed by management\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree in engineering and a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a multi-disciplinary design focused engineering team\nMaster’s degree in systems engineering\nMinimum of 4 years of experience as a Hardware, Software, Mechanical or Biomedical engineer\nMinimum of 3 years as a Systems Engineering team leader\nDevelopment of Medical devices - advantage\nDevelopment in Agile environments - advantage\nStrong Leadership skills and ability to coach, lead and develop the team\nCollaborative and able to work well with cross functional teams across Integra\nStrong problem-solving ability\nSolution focused mindset\nClear communication skills both verbal and written, in applicable languages\nAdherence to Integra values and compliance\nGood sense of urgency\nSelf-motivated and willingness to learn and adapt\nUnsolicited Agency Submission\nIntegra LifeSciences does not accept unsolicited assistance from search firms for employment opportunities.
