(Supported by GIS Data / API Integration Engineer responsibilities) \nCollaborate with GIS Data / API Integration Engineers to manage ETL pipelines for geospatial datasets\nIntegrate GIS components with VA-EISS business logic, APIs, databases, and microservices.\nQualifications\nRequired:\nBachelor’s Degree in computer science or an IT-related degree with 7-10 years’ experience\nExperience developing web mapping applications, geospatial visualizations, and spatially-enabled systems. \nExperience integrating GIS services, APIs, ETL pipelines, and authoritative geospatial data sources. \nExperience with enterprise GIS (ESRI, ArcGIS Online/Portal), mapping libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers, ArcGIS JS API), and spatial databases.\nExperience working in Agile environments and supporting continuous integration and automated testing\nDemonstrated production web application development + GIS; web mapping APIs/SDKs; spatial services; JavaScript/TypeScript; REST; responsive UX; spatial data; automated testing\nPublic Trust\nPreferred:\nSupported NCA memorials: eligibility, burial scheduling, interment, monuments; VA Product Owner support\n\nSalary Range: $131,000 - $158,000\nThis role is in the proposal stage. The above salary range represents a general guideline.
