You will be expected to demonstrate strong technical ownership, mentor team members, and contribute to engineering excellence across projects.\nKey Responsibilities\nSoftware Development & Design\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain high-performance backend applications using C and C++.\nBuild scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions aligned with business requirements.\nDevelop reusable components, libraries, and frameworks to improve development efficiency.\nParticipate in system architecture discussions and technical design reviews.\nOptimize system performance, memory usage, and application responsiveness.\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.\nReview code to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to engineering standards.\nDrive best practices in software design, coding standards, testing, and documentation.\nContribute to technical decision-making and architecture evolution.\nCollaboration & Client Engagement\nWork closely with Product Owners, Architects, Project Leads, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams.\nParticipate in requirements analysis and solution design sessions.\nCommunicate effectively with US-based clients and stakeholders.\nSupport project planning, estimation, and risk identification.\nQuality & Continuous Improvement\nWrite unit tests, integration tests, and support automation efforts.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.\nContinuously evaluate and improve system reliability, performance, and security.\nStay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.\nRequirements\nExperience\n8+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong hands-on experience developing backend systems using C and C++.\nProven experience building and maintaining large-scale, high-performance applications.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.\nExperience working directly with clients or distributed teams is highly preferred.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong expertise in modern C++ (C++11/14/17 and beyond).\nDeep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.\nStrong knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Software Engineering principles.\nExperience with multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and parallel programming.\nExperience with memory management, performance tuning, and debugging complex applications.\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, sockets, and communication protocols.\nExperience developing software on Linux environments.\nProficiency with Git and source control best practices.\nDatabase & Systems Knowledge\nExperience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.\nUnderstanding of distributed systems concepts.\nFamiliarity with microservices architecture is a plus.\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nStrong ownership and accountability.\nAbility to mentor and influence technical teams.\nGrowth mindset and continuous learning attitude.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with embedded systems, real-time systems, or high-performance computing environments.\nExperience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.\nExposure to Python, Bash scripting, or other automation
