In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of storage administration, including provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. This is a customer-facing position.\nKey Responsibilities\n· Manage and maintain Weka and Ceph storage environments.\n· Provision storage resources to meet application and user requirements.\n· Configure and manage storage pools, volumes, and snapshots.\n· Implement and maintain data protection strategies, including backups and replication.\n· Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization.\n· Identify and troubleshoot storage-related issues.\n· Perform routine maintenance tasks.\n· Stay up-to-date on the latest storage technologies and best practices.\n· Document storage configurations and procedures.\n· Participate in an on-call rotation to provide critical support for AI and HPC operations.\nWork Conditions\nStandard 8-hour workday with participation in a rotational on-call schedule aligned with the US Eastern Time zone, providing critical operational support for AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) environments.\nRequirements\n· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n· 8+ years of experience in storage administration.\n· Proven experience with Weka and Ceph or other parallel and object storage solutions (Panasas/Vdura, Lustre, VAST).\n· Strong understanding of storage protocols (e.g., FC, iSCSI, NFS, S3).\n· Experience with storage management software (e.g., Weka Home, VAST Management Console).\n· Strong Linux systems administration skills and experience with open-source technologies.\n· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\n· Strong analytical and communication skills.\n· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n· Excellent time management and organizational skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\n· Experience with storage virtualization technologies (e.g., NetApp SVM, Weka CSI).\n· Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, BASH, Ansible).\n· Familiarity with storage over InfiniBand networks.\n· Understanding
